You saved my ass. All the lights out. Changed bulbs, did nothing. Fuses good. Saw your video and $20 and 10 min later it's fixed!!!! Good advice to use wood or something to depress the pedal. You can also buy the part and unclip the plug and put it into new part before you swap to confirm. Worked perfectly man. Made me look like a genius in front of my gf. Appreciate it.
No you need power bud! just be careful and do at your own risk 💪 i wont not liable for any problems that may happen! But other than that happy wrenching!
I have an 07 spectra and my brake light switch connector is a 4 prong receptacle, i tried the paperclip trick on all 4 to connect the circuit and it lit up the tail lights but not the brake indicators. Suggestion?
Thanks so much I been getting mad at my car it was the relay first cause the lights didn’t light at all. Now it’s the break light switch 🥲. But she about to get fixed and back on the road thanks to you.

@@MarkPuke13Thanks for replying, one more thing does the car need to be ON to disconnect the wire that's connected with the brake light switch.
@@yahir089 yeah leave it on so the brake pedal can compress but not started! Cause if the cars off its gonna be hard to push in the brake..
would it be the same issue if all the brake lights dont work? as in they dont turn on
No might want to check your bulbs/connectors/wires/ fuse.. sorry might be alot of checking till you find the main problem

Might be the wiring and or Fuses!!! Check the fuses!!! Good luck and happy wrenching!!
@@MarkPuke13 tha ks for the reply, yeah the fuses look to be ok both in the cabin and under the hood. I hope it isnt the wiring harness
@@trevorchelseascott1327 might want to check that or even the bulb itself
Do you have a video showing how to tighten the accelerator cable, and my gas pedal is loose when I step on it.
No but check it on your throttle body
@@MarkPuke13 so there is no way of tightening the cable?
