altomapache, que alegria me dio saber de q aún hay estudiantes de matsubayashi en algun lugar, y lo mas increible, de Akamine.Soy Urugayo y salí de Urugay a mas de 30 años para los EEUU.Comenzé a praticar Shorin ryu con 12 años, y mis maestros en Urugay eran Fernandez y Castro, y nuestros maestros eran Shintasu higa, oscar higa, Akamine.Despues de 8 años praticando emigré, y claro siempre praticando solo.Hoy por queria saber si tiene algun site para poder entrar en contacto.Gracias

Thanks, Seiei Kan must be a break away of the Nagamine Matsubayashi Ryu group! Is this Don Madden's group from OH? If so, this group of Matsubayashi pre-existed his dojo.

En en año 73 despues de praticar Sotokan por 1año, nuestros Sensei decidierón cambiar par aShorin Ryu , en la epóca realmenteno sabiamos pq, Despues de una adecuación de cinturones, ya que el estilo Shorin ryu , oviamente mas rapido e efectivo que shotokan, no colocó en un camino de mejor performances en termino de tecnicas e conceptos de filosofia.Shoryn dejo marcas increibles en mi vida, especialmente por la disiplina.Queria entrar en contato con personas de este estilo.Vivo en Brasil

VISITED Zeno Heshiki / Ansel ueshiro and Long Island
Fyukyugata Sandan was ansei ueshiro kata
The ShorinryuKarate USA group was born then
ansei ueshiro issued his own certificates
Green Brown Black Shodan/Nidan/Sandan
created his own patch / logo
New Reformed Kata and Sylabus was introduced based upon kyu/Dan system
originally naihanchi was first kata taught under ansei ueshiro then in 1966 Fukyugata I & II
Fukyugata III and Oyo Tan Ren
Fukyugata was translated as Demonstration ( public ) kata followed by Pinan Series
ancient kata were classified by Rank
usually one kata was chosen as their kata
most students wore only white belts
the teacher ( of that day) wore a black belt
A certificate was only issued if you left the dojo/country

Chosin Chibana had established the
