Hello, I bought one, and the tilt fluid drag knob is making a crackling noise when adjusted a bit hard/fast. Do you have this? Also, how hard is the maximum drag (tilt) ??
Its reversed on purpose so that the binoculars will point straight up, otherwise it would only go up to about 70 degrees and for use with astronomy binoculars that would be less than ideal.
I have been using my BT-100XL-SD on a T3 with the 608 head for a few years now. It set up properly it makes for a very relaxing session.

Are you even qualified to show people how to use the Manfrotto Nitrotech 608 head?? Both the bino and the arm are mounted in the wrong direction.

This is the norm for astronomy applications. Trust me…..I am a customer….Kevin is well qualified.
