I didn't get the best performance from my home-brew mag-loop until I put it up on a pole at least one loop diameter from any objects and clear of the horizon.
Does the garage have a metal frame by any chance? If so, it would work as a useful Faraday cage to reduce noise levels. I once tried to use a MW rx in a warehouse but plagued by QRM from a pc terminal. I put the radio in a metal trolley cage and got qrm free reception. The radio was battery operated. G4BTI.
Hello, I am impressed by your demonstration in the garage. Unfortunately, I don't have the possibility to place my antenna next to the radio. Can you imagine offering a remote control for the capacitor, or do you have an idea how I can manage this? 73, DL3NAR
Inside the garage there is a real electromagnetic Hell 😈

Das Ringdipol Magnetfeld ist zum Peilen gut❤😂😂😂🎉

Not yet, but I plan to made it in the future
Do you think the low transmission angle is helping?
Yes for DX but no for local acoss the EU
Good morning pool.
