1090 Jake discussed The Unforgiven, a white supremacist gang within the Florida Department of Corrections. Unlike most states that have the Aryan Brotherhood, Florida does not sanction this gang. Any white gang in Florida falls under the Unforgiven's umbrella. Despite having a considerable size, this gang does not have much influence in the Florida State Prison as white prisoners are a minority, and they’re not embraced by other gangs. The Unforgiven primarily recruits those who are shunned by other gangs. Their members often bear racist symbols. However, they claim not to be racist. 1090 Jake stated that he was never interested in joining the Unforgiven as he didn't fit in with the group.

In Alabama you have 2 white gangs, ABs, then you have Southern Brotherhood, but they have guys that are married to black women or biracial kids. They use 14 something but not same as ABs. They usually rack with blood and rock together. Prison politics is weird for people who live in the free world. Once you get out, you still see it, but free world people don't know what they are looking at if that makes since. The prison in Alabama has 30k people locked up at any given time, so think about how many people who have been in are in the street. Then, you have work camps where people have worked their custody down. I stopped trying to explain to my family because they act like they don't want to here and it doesn't affect their lives. I'm only one out of big family who ever went I spent 3 years killing a 10. It changes how you view the world . I spent 3 years reading books I would have never read before. I learned more in 3 years than I learned all my school years and college. You meet very intelligent people and talented people who just made wrong choices.

The swastika wasn't interpreted to be meant as a racist symbol. It has been used in a lot of religions amongst other things especially in old times. I can't think of the meaning of the top of my head but it's something totally different
