I’d hurry up and make the most of it because a lot of hotels could be scrapping all inclusive in the next few years with the cost of living crisis, cost of food and drink and the huge wastage. Its become unsustainable both economically and environmentally.

Thats the outside pool bar. Gets busy and empty fast. Lovely food though. We always go all inclusive with the kids so they can pick and choose what and when they eat. Fussy buggers but it saves money in the long run. We dont waste money in the town at restaurants with food they dont like and we dont end up at makkys or kfc!

I think hotels will soon stop doing All Inclusive. With huge rises in cost of living and food & drink, all inclusive is not sustainable. Staff rarely ever get tips and feel overworked, under paid and unappreciated. Then there’s the wastage. People piling their plates high with food and not eating it all. Waste costs money also people getting several pints of beer and not drinking it all. Local bars and cafes have closed due to AI hotels. Also all inclusive is bad for the environment. 15 or 20 years ago AI was good but now the food and drink quality is very poor to the extent that guests think what is the point of AI?
I think a lot of hotels will return to pay as you go drinks, maybe free at meal times. Some may go to table service meals as buffets are wasteful. But charging for drinks will lessen the hotels drinks bill allow better quality food. Nonetheless the days of All inclusive are numbered and I’d not surprised if in the next few years we see many hotels in Benidorm and elsewhere scrap All inclusive, if local councils and Spains government don’t ban it on environmental grounds.
