MORE JUSKATLA LOGGING PICTURES

A few more pictures from my collection, hope you guys enjoy them! I sure enjoyed taking them. Check out the load on the first picture! One of the biggest loads ever, lots of people took pictures of it. M&B used it on the cover of the QCD Rec Map, but it was replaced after a couple of years. Too controversial!

All our trucks are either Pacific model P-16, or Hayes model HDX. There is also a Challenger, and the odd KW. Some of those trucks are 40 years old!

Great pictures there mate. What are those timber trucks? They look similar to the KW and Mack trucks that haul coal over here. Bloody big trucks.

Nice job. Is that old Euclid truck the same one thats in your other videos? Some of the Hitachis in the slideshow are pretty mean looking.

I have a picture from the same paper, showing the log on the truck. I think it was the engine from 223 that went into one of our trucks a few years ago. Still had "GENERAL MOTORS DIESEL" on the covers, but they switched them for "DETROIT" ones before the engine was installed.

Really bringing back the memories, eh? That picture of Mr. Lax was taken in 1968, I think, it actually came from a newspaper clipping I have. He hauled in a giant spruce log that was sold to Ontario.

That one was built in our shop. A Hayes HDX, with a Tyee 5 speed winch, and a Madill pipe. A really great machine! It got cut up a couple of years ago.

Yep, that's me driving it in the one picture. That Hitachi 450 roadbuilder is pretty nice, eh?

She's a beaut! I like the body gaurding with the "stepped up" part right before the counter weight, looks tough. The oversize feul tank/ counter weights are cool too. To me this is the definition of a BC roadbuilder.
