This video was super helpful, thank you! No other youtubers mentioned that the tickets can be sold out, they only mentioned that it was a good idea to book in advance. When I got there I was so thankful I had booked tickets online because the tickets were sold out for the day

I visited Barcelona last week. I was so worried about pickpockets, however, nothing like that happened. Stayed at the junction of el raval and l'eixample. Had my phone always in my hand. Took only 2.5 days to visit every attraction, beach, Gracia, Born, Gothic etc. Took taxi everywhere (really cheap).
Hey, does public transport is really cheap as in taxi, buses. And can u please share the places u visited in those 2 days. Actually I will also stay there for 2 days only.

We visited Barcelona in December and had a great time, I can't think of anything that has taken my breath away like when we walked in to the Sagrada familia. A walkable city, great food, great architecture and decent weather make it an ideal city break destination. Another enjoyable video Monkey, keep up the good work 👍

Good couple of video's and that comes from someone who has been to Barcelona over 50 times in the last 20 years. Avoid July and August if possible purely for the humidity (it's even been horrendous late September). If going to Las Ramblas, do it early morning then avoid it like th plague...

Just returned from beautiful Barcelona, didn’t find the nativity tower in Sagrada anything special, not worth the money and effort IMO. Also visited the tapa place you mentioned in your video not because of your recommendation but by chance and because of the crowd we saw outside waiting, over priced and over hyped place, we tried much better places all over Barcelona, especially the local small neighborhood restaurants, nevertheless glad we tried.

You are misleading people about the type of electric outlets in Spain with your adapter ad.

@@SuitcaseMonkey at 6:27 you talk about electrical outlets in Spain and show a photo with the incorrect outlet type. Spain has standard European outlets with 2 round prongs.
Ah I see. As I’m introducing the topic though I start by saying Spain uses the 2 pin round plug and it’s a world travel adapter so has all types, and I was showing another one. So by saying Spain uses the two pin round plug, I hope people understand they need a two pin round plug when here.

Not in Catalan, Adrian. They pronounce it correctly, just like an English “j”. Besides a “granja”, meaning a dairy products shop, is a word used only in Catalonia. Apart from this, a “granja” is a farm, both in Spanish and Catalan
Do you even know that Catalan exists? Wikipedia says this is a very old (at least 1300s) Catalan word "borrowed" from Old French.
