At Worlds 2023, it took Faker approximately four seconds to obliterate six years of unresolved history.
In perhaps the single greatest outplay in League history, Faker read Ruler like a book, and pulled off a flash that will live in forever.

"All roads lead to me" will probably be the coldest thing ever said in esports
Guess what only FAKER can say that... 🏆🏆🏆🏆
Till faker drops another one liner when he wins his 5th one
some roads lead to me
-poby the goat 😂
Honestly, it might be the coldest line ever spoken in competition.
@kaminoyami30 lol poby is The Killable Demon prince 🤴
a 21 minute video for a FLASH is CRAZY, nobody else but the goat deserves that.
Somehow they also did the same for a Ceb Axe Blink Taunt moment, 21 mins long video. 😂
well it turns out they mliked the goat
@@raijinshin2791 this channel is farming likes and views with Faker videos. I love Faker to death but that I feel they have too many videos about faker.
@@kristiandelossantos9672 i think i came across a comment too about this talking about how they would make fsker videos after some meta video dies down
I get your point but it's not just a flash it's a turn of the tide of the game and a turn of the series in general
Azir also saying the line "Trust in me" as faker goes in just adds to the goosebumps
As if League itself wanted him to win.
Azir himself trusted faker
@@katanaz7124ROFL!
And the fact that Azir during the shuffle said the voice line "Trust in me" just makes it even more of a cinematic moment.
I like to call this play "All Roads Lead to Me."
Alternate Name: 6 year Azir Shuffle
everyone calls that
The roads but when poby uses it it becomes the sidewalk
@@kiyousuke999Some roads still lead to him
@kiyousuke999 the killable demon king/prince
everyone played off faker perfectly, faker with the play and tower, zeus won his 1v1, gumas stop watch, kerias hostile takeover and bailout, oner with massive cc. Couldn't have been more perfect
Honestly the timing from Oner was so clean when I first saw it live, I though oneR did the outplay xD
@@wickedblessed2547 his flash engage over the ashe arrow earlier was absolutely disgusting he has insane game knowledge
thank you for the break down, I don't really play league so i couldnt really catch what was happening
@@GhostMan407 i paused the stream and rewinded it at least 3 times before rewatching the replay a bunch of times. It was super clutch
This guy has the title "Unkillable Demon King", Won 4 Worlds, Playing for 11 Years, Have the most Legendary moments in League, Playing while being in Hall of Fame, Unbeaten by LPL, and dropped one of the coldest line in Esports ever "All roads lead to me." He can retire anytime and still be unbeaten by any player in records.
It's so much more than winning worlds 4 times! When you break down his history at Worlds he is: Champion 4 times, Finalist 2 times, Semi-finalist 2 times. He has attended Worlds 8 times and made a least semi-finals every single time. Even during his "lull" he was still qualifying and leading teams deep into the tournament with consistency. 75% rate of making the championship match is insane. XD
zip his pants up when your finished lil bro
@@schroecat1 like i said to the other guy as well, zip his pants up when your finished lil bro
@@DestinationX85 Na no need, i'll never be finished with him. Its cool though you can watch big bro.
I have seen it so many times but I still get goosebumps....
That was over in a matter of seconds good lord that was a good play 😭
This is the play of Worlds 2023, but IMO, It would have been better if you featured Guma's 1v2 against Ruler and 369, seeing that skirmish was so reliant on having frame perfect ping and almost zero latency in the network.
Is this the one in the mid-lane at the bottom river entrance? If so, I've seen that broken down in another video. Epic outplay by Gumayusi.
That play from Gumayusi deserves another video
all of them were insane at worlds. They made it feel like you need all 5 to be at the absolute peak of the game to win worlds.
And you know what's the best part on that play? Was the teaser video before this game starts when Guma said "I'm not going to stop ruler, i want to crush him" AND OH YES HE DID CRUSH HIM
"All roads lead to me" is easily one of if not the coldest line not only in esports but in anything competitive IMO. Its up there with Kobe's "Job not finish"
i still love the comms after that play, the tone of guma's "wow... sanghyukie hyung..."
even his teammates were in awe and relieved after that fight, they assumed it was lost. then he moves and oner full sends it.
The one year when I didn't predict T1 as the champs in Pick 'Ems and they won. Pain.
Please dont predict them again bro. I want them to win again hahahaha
Same! I predicted them in 22 but after their 2023 summer season i got worried their level of performance had dropped so i predicted JDG. The irony of it all
@@haikaltaufik7571 Nah, it's KT this year. Just you watch! XD
19:07 "Hesitation is defeat" reworded
there is just no way you are praising Faker for the play on 10:50.
Absolute crazy stuff from Oner flashing over an arrrow, holy
Oner was without a doubt the MVP of the play, but Faker reacted to the play almost immediately. That reaction was so quick that it's probably the case that Faker had complete faith that Oner would land the engage and was already ready to just full send. Yeah, Oner deserves a lot of the praise for this, but Faker's faith and speed should be recognised too. And seeing as this video is about nothing but glazing Faker, it's kind of obvious why they just full sent the Faker glaze here.
That intro was fire!
theScore when they have no ideas.
QUICKLY! Break the Faker did something glass
I was going to reply the same stuff, but then i just bet someone would comment first. I am correct
the analysis of the play was actually good tho.
@@tachyons168the guy probably just league player toxicity syndrome, theScore's main target of these vids aren't hardcore league fans anyway.
@@dysxxvii yeah
@@tachyons168 It is good
It doesn’t matter if we have another player more “dominant” than faker in the coming years it just doesn’t matter. He has cemented himself as the GOAT. The impact he has had on the game is unparalleled. He has single handedly changed how people play the game. Anyone who has watched him from the very beginning when he was a rookie will remember his Riven days. I’ll never forget when even the casters couldn’t explain what he was doing. He found things in league of legends that people consider normal nowadays. Everybody knows about “auto canceling” but few remember that it was Faker who made it well known. He has left a mark on league so large that nobody will ever hold a candle to him and the day he retired League will be entering a new era.
the legendary qss zed
That's what people often forget about so many of these great players. They are all great. so it ultimately comes down to the intangibles, and the impact that Faker had on the game is almost incomparable. Pretty much anyone, in any region, can happily cheer for him, possibly even against their own region. That's something that prolly isn't true of many, if any, other players right now, or possibly ever again.
This channel needs to pay T1 for how much they milk T1 and Faker (not that I'm complaining, these are like the only vids I watch)
I wish they appreciated the plays made by the other T1 members as well. They all played so well in worlds last year.
19:00 is definition of NA region, most are too scared of the "risky" play and taking blame and being a hashtag, so it seems logically better to be the person "who didn't int" rather than being the person who "struck out swinging"
0:55 rat was featured hahahahahahaha
SALLY HAHAHAAUHA
"That's for 2017" Same mirror spot, same champion that ended SKTs Reign coincidence is a scary thing xd
10:54 Shows oner flash dogging Ashe r and pulling off a mega engage. But It was all faker, lmao. Oner played so well during that worlds he needs more credit.
Oner at Worlds 2022 and 2023 stealing Dragons, Barons, and outplaying with his ninja reactions. He is the best jungler they've ever had, I'd say he's better than Bengi while Faker is shotcalling.
@@GomaceSmiting has always been Bengi's kryptonite. He made up for it with his vision control and presence.
Its kinda hard to compare the two since mechanics have evolved over the years. Oner is far better mechanically but Bengi has a way better resume. Bengi also has a better win percentage with faker but he did share time with Blank for a bit. Both have their moments in crucial games too
Just remember Bengi is Oner's coach
yeah man, oner and gumayusi went crazy that series
@@psy_99 bengi also played for lanes better he sometimes singlehandedly won marin games in top lane and dont forget why they called him the right hand of god playing insane in the 2v2 with faker
idk if my words is valid, but as a Dota player for 10 years, Faker never fails to amaze me
That's alright, we forgive you. DotA has a pretty great esports scene too. Just watch more Worlds. XD
You're one of the good guys, my friend. Not one of those deluded herald elitists. Appreciate both games and its pro scene. Team T1 with Faker is my Team OG with Notail. The Kings. The Goats.
i’ve never even played league, but for some reason was watching this match that day, when i saw that play i just knew something magical was happening, faker truly is the goat and the closest thing in esports we have to a household name
I haven't played League in YEARS, but I watched this match, if not live, then immediately after because of EPICSKILLSHOT. I hadn't been that invested in a League worlds since...ever.
Some roads lead to him but most of them are under construction.
*Poby
I love this channel to begin with, but this was one of your better videos by far. The freeze with the explanation of the state of the game was _really_ good.
You know what they say: If you no gap, no race.
Something like that, at least.
If u no longer for the gap ur no longer racing. I think it is
@@balo1948 haha I know. I was just making a joke because it's kind of an overused quote 🤣
uhm what? maybe remember the line before making a fool of yourself. 🤣🤣🤣
“Faker refuses to lose” that line is cold af
That's for 2017 b-
lmao best comment
In that moment, Azir actually utters the voice line "Trust in me."
Poetry and Symphony.
Not enough credit to oner and guma
And Zeus, he got MVP for a reason
Yea weird narrative to talk about how t1 fledgling couldn’t do it like oner wasn’t the consensus mvp for the entire tournament. They all were best in their role that tourney.
@@GLOSSz Zeus got final MVP tho, he is the best player in the Final. MVP was discarded since 2017 we all knew why
@@oreoyo5639 he wasnt tho it was Zeus for a reason, thats why he got an MVP skin, it wasnt just for finals, it was overall, JG does do more for the team but Zeus stats were crazy, he literally won lane in almost every game by a lot
@@minhanhle4027 Nah thats just cope, JG does more for the team but Zeus stats were too high to ignore. He won lane in almost every game by a lot they even target banned him a ton
The fact that Faker knew Ruler was going to react his ult with flash, and predicted that by auto attacking to simulate an ult channeling, then flashing and ulting... It's honestly insane.
watching 30 seconds after the videos released, greatest youtube homepage reload in my history
Every time I see plays from this semis, it gives me goosebumps. T1's mental was on point during this Worlds...I was on the edge of my seat watching every game they played. They pulled through and they finally got what they worked for, for so long.
I sometimes worry about them, especially in the current LCK season...but seeing plays like this makes me feel a little more at ease. Just like Azir said "Trust in Me", so i shall.
That moment, the one thing that popped up on my mind was the "zone" in kuroko no basket. The way Oner followed up Faker's flash + ult to Ruler, Zeus' quick reaction to return, Guma and Keria buying as much time as possible by utilizing their champs skills and items. Damn, always gives me goosebumps. FAKER IS A GOAT FOR A REASON.
Making a Zone for all of your teammates.❤️🔥 the "Game Maker".
Faker said he'd toss them, and Oner trusted him. He didn't know how he was going to make it happen through a Flash from Ruler, but he trusted him all the same!
Absolutely loved this breakdown. The story, the production quality, the editing and the fact that I've played a bunch of League (I've never played CS or any of the games like that.) Had me on the edge of my seat.
Esports is an anime in itself…
I think at this point, no matter how the game evolves or what new player powerhouses emerge, Faker's ability to be both a solo playmaker and the solid rock for his team to fall back on make him nigh insurmountable in terms of legacy and skill. Massive kudos to him and his team.
that series showcased t1's talent in full potential with everybody basically canyon gapping their matchups. Ill never forget that 1v2 guma did in the middle of a team fight. or that oner flashing the ashe ult to engage... insanity
Those analytic ainmations are a neat addition. I like those. Keep em coming.
give sound department a raise holy shit!
The context around this play truly is remarkable... the whole setup leading to this one moment is pure magic. The golden road narrative... the facing ruler who happened to be back on varus for this game... coming back after their 2022 defeat having learnt from their mistakes and showing insane composure even when they were 4k gold down and backs against the wall. The trust in this play and the nerve to even go for it... some people will say that it's just a simple flash but I'll never get over the magic of it. The stars aligned in this tournament and the fact that it was Fakers return to glory after Ruler having ended it the first time...
This is when I started to believe that someone truly is writing the script because it's literally a movie ending. This truly is the greatest flash in league history, I don't care what anyone says, the narrative is far too strong lol.
What this video didn't mention was that Gen G - who won the LCK summer championship - was Korea's number 1 hope to win worlds. They won all 3 games in the Swiss rounds and looked really strong, then in the quarter finals they played a nail biting, 5 game silver scrapes series against
LPL's (Chinese) #1 seed team in BLG eventually succumbing to them in the end.
To make matters worse: KT Rolster, the #1 seed coming off the summer split also got stomped by JDG in the quarter finals, losing to them 3-1.
So #1 seed KT and Gen G the winner of summer playoffs were both eliminated in the quarter finals, leaving T1 as the only team left for Korea but it looked very grim.
So the semi finals was set. 3 strong chinese teams and Korea's last hope in T1. Although Korea is one of the strongest regions It really felt like they were against the odds during this worlds. Winning it all seemed so slim because T1 faced a monster in JDG who won both splits plus MSI.
JDG won all 3 games, going undefeated in the Swiss Round and lost only one game to KT in the quarter finals.
This is what made it a legendary performance by Faker and T1. They were really Korea's last hope and they overcame it all. 💪
Faker is the only member of the roster who was born in the 90s, the rest are born in the 2000s
Zeus - 2004
Oner - 2002
Faker - 1996
Gumayusi - 2002
Keria - 2002
I mean, if you are going to have just 1 veteran on your team, lol.
15:40 this flash will forever be remembered by everyone who understands that if guma didn’t reacted fast to that arrow the whole game would be different
True, but pros are expected to be able to make those flashes. He wasn't under any other immediate pressure, just attacking the baron buffed minions.
a 21 one minute video for the greatest flash in league of legends ? YES !
Promoting merch on your website with 1 star review is pretty bold
can we talk about gumas flash 15:41 :o
“I’ll toss them” goes so hard what a legend
That engaged moment of Azir and saying his line " TRUST IN ME!" bro literally goosebumps
2:23 ruler surviving that, great teamwork
Late game Lulu for you.
"Faker Flashed First" should be on a T-Shirt
22 minute video on a single flash in league of legends ive officially seen it all
Being an Esports channel then faking RL gameplay for a sponsor is sacrilegious
"Wow that was straight fire." - Keria 2023
When I watched this LIVE I swear I had an adrenaline rush
It's been almost a year and I still cant stop reliving this moment damn.
"ILL TOSS THEM"
and with these words, it was over.
i still cry when i see this series, been a fan of faker for a decade+ its hard not to feel emotional.
gives me chills everytime that clip played man.. that is the goat move indeed
"All roads lead to me" will always be my favorite line.
"trust in me!"
-azir
That took years of pain to overcome to learn a new trick, before only a mere unkillable demon, now the king of control discipline.
I was really hoping this was going to be about the Ryze flash in place video from over a decade ago lol
Or Faker's Riven flash over the Cass ultimate...
This is just such an iconic flash, that's just pure goat energy
When i watched that game. Around the point when T1 starts faltering and getting picked off one by one. In my head, i knew Faker will try something to get back to the game. When Ashe’s ult is in cooldown, I also saw the angle that Faker can initiate however I don’t know if they can do it right. But when the moment i doubt they will do it. Faker, like a madman initiated that play and literally blew my mind and literally shout “ i knew it” . That play so clean that gave me goosebumps.
Of course the Greatest player of all time did One of the greatest moments of All Time.
"I'll toss them" is crazy
Even though cloud soul didnt synergize well, I do believe that 20% ms is why he was able to gain that postioning for the flash ult 🤯
You can't forget that T1 was the last remaining Korean team remaining while worlds were being held in Korea. Having beat BLG and LNG beforehand they still had the rest of the LPL to beat as Korea's last hope. To me, it's just crazy how many things lined up perfectly for Worlds 2023.
0:40 everyone serious face
Faker: I'll toss them
Literally got chills constantly watching this video, the lore and the skill is just unmatched
Faker: "Nah, I'd toss 'em."
When you live in NA and have no chance at seeing your region win an international title, at least you can still cheer for Faker!
No matter if he fails to protect his crown this season, he already cemented his name. Hell, he could already retire and people will still have his plays in review.
I need a Black Myth: Faker game.
give Oner some credit the flash for dodging ashe ultimate then doing a set is the most crazy things I've seen in worlds plus that dragon steal
haha Wolf great contribution brus
"ill toss them" with 0 emotion. Thats why he is the goat.
Guma flash to get away from that arrow was just as massive as fakers flash
They are pros. they are expected to be able to make flashes like that, especially when he wasn't under any pressure at all. He was just hitting the baron minions.
Home court + New Jeans buff = champs 🏆😊
The craziest play I’ve seen in many years.
JDG had the god tier performance during the worlds, but we all knew one thing that Faker is still in the game.
Finally Ryu is free from the shackles of the past, Sadly Ruler will take his place in the following years....
Faker sounding like Thanos with that back to me line 😂
I am a simple man, I watch video glazing Faker, I cry. That's my GOAT.
I think Zeus' performance at worlds 2023 was really under appreciated. He performed SOOO well on Aatrox, Gwen, and Yone
the all roads lead to me is the hardest qute i have ver heard to still this year
This brings a tear to my eye.
No matter how good you are, Azir Ult is hard to flash because the user of the azir can do the ult horizontal and diagonal because Azir's wall has a weird delay pushback when he do the shuffle
"Some road lead to me" - Poby
my best flash countered azir ult. which is unpassable. but with the exact right perfect timing......miracles happen
So Epic! More vids like this please
The glaze from this channel is unreal. There are other players and teams in this game
Faker got his revenge and won worlds for the 4th time. He's the GOAT
theScore esports releasing video about Faker every month and I'm here for it!
And this is the play that everyone single mid laner and top laner started playing azir in solo queue and it was CRAZY!!!!!
Its always weird to me this “roster of rookies” narrative when at this point they had been together 3 years since 2020. Give the team their flowers man they had been fighting hard for 3 years to get to that point they arent some up and coming roster of nobodies.
I say this because this year after winning worlds and being in the 2022 world finals. They STILL get referred to as Faker and his “rookies” and thats just wild.
I cen still feel that Shurima Shuffle, my heart still races. This not nostalgia. This is core memory.
