- Hi there music lovers, I did not upload music theory video's for a while due to being busy with my job and composing, apologies for that. Now, I've got a couple of new music theory video's coming up, I'll start with this little gem from Chopin's famous preludes.
Remark: in the original manuscript there are ofcourse pedal markings, I left them out here just for clarity of representing the roman numerals.

Thanks Peter!
Thank you so much for this analysis Mr. I am glad I have discovered your channel!
I’m glad it could help you in some way 😁
Bedankt Timon, dankzij jou ga ik dit lied weer proberen te spelen. Ik leer het mijzelf…maar was er nog niet klaar voor denk ik.vooral navigeren , vooruit kijken en de toetsen “”voelen.”
Veel succes!
Thank you for giving us the direction in order for us to don't give up
Thank you for the kind words!
Good Job Timon! Everytime I watch a new video of you I learn something new! I don't know if you take rquests but if so. I would love an analysis of Robert Schumann - Drei Romanzen op. 94. Those are such gourgeous pieces!
Sadly I don't take requests unless they are paid for, this is just because there are already a ton of requests pending. Good taste though ;) and thank you for letting know that it helps, that's what I do it for ;)
Would you like to do Schumann Des Abends? Some really weird but cool harmony but I get lost after 5 bars.
Hey there, well I can't just do any harmonic analysis on request. If it is too difficult, try to start with more easier stuff maybe? You will learn more this way than if I just show you the "solution" of a more difficult piece? Right? :)
