The creators of this show always seemed to know the importance of the right track or song/music for a scene, And it often reflects upon the nature of the episode/theme...
This scene was so intense when I first watched it - and still is. I think it might have been written with this specific song in mind. One of the few times where they chose a popular song (and by a non- Canadian artist). I also love that the showdown includes both Welsh and Elaine, covering their team.
Thank you for the upload. It brings me back to the nineties, when my brother and I sat together watching this particular episode (both teenagers). Ever since the song and the story pictured, evoked us as brothers. Even more nowadays when he's gone.
Excellent scene, impeccably acted, both touching and unexpectedly comic. (Does anyone else think that Brent Carver, playing the hunted brother, bore an uncanny resemblance to Daniel Craig?)
I just watched a Miami Vice episode where this sone was used. I had to look this up and watch it again. No disrespect to Miami Vice, but this is what i see wehn i hear Brothers in Arms.
The people behind Due South had some impeccable musical choices, over the course of the series.

This is one of the best scenes...in television. Right up there with the ending of Babylon 5. The music is just perfect.

I watched Due South ages ago and I still think of that scene from time to time.
For some reason this scene popped up in my head and I'm glad that someone thought to put it up.
one of the extremely few shows where much of the dialogue was non-verbal. just brilliant.

where are tv series like this outstanding production nowadays?

jedna z najlepszych scen jakie kiedykolwiek powstały w historii seriali. Końcówka jest wręcz kunsztem, klasyką, ścianą nie do przebicia.
Love the series, and the best version of this song ever.❤❤❤❤
the expression on Fraser's face - so stalwart, yet so heartbroken.

I love it so it's perfect
RIP, Brent Carver….beautiful man, gifted artist.
There was a lot of problems in the later season of Due South, this episode was not one of the them. Awesome closing scenes.
Just have to love Ray. "Kick them in the head?"
Such a brillant show!
Before Miami VIce than Due South... WELL DONE!!!
one of the best moments in the whole series :)
Wish this program had lasted longer.
one of the two best scenes
What was the other one lol
Thanks for uploading this. Remembered it all these years; superb mix of music and scene.
