Your thoughts are always interesting. Thanks so much for doing this one. One of my favorite things about Dan’s singing ( among many) is that faculty he has that you mentioned, to switch registers, tones, and vocal techniques so smoothly and gorgeously. I’ve never perceived a break anywhere in his voice. Another one that shows a bit of that is Blind and Frozen (Beast in Black): and I m sure many others that aren’t occurring to me right now. Excellent breakdown of this song. I believe we all have an inner conflict of good versus evil. Dan has a way of getting to the core of that in so many of his choices of songs. Dan Vasc's rendition of "Wish I Had an Angel" does have a captivating darkness to it, doesn't it? Love it.
Loved all you had to say about this! I also like all his male versions of female songs. His Nightwish, Within Temptation and Evanescence covers are all amazing! I know you’re trying to release your review of his cover Highway to Hell…but check out his symphonic cover of Thunderstruck. This was done while he was with Orions Reign! Awesome vocals! Great performance, great reaction! I much prefer Dan's version to the original. I also think he could step right in and take over the vocals for Nightwish and fit right in.

If you like Dan Vasc as much as I do, I highly suggest you check out Swedish metal singer Tommy Johansson and his cover of She's Gone (Steelheart). His voice is equally fantastic and he has a great sense of humour. 😉
