The only place in which people could put money was the stock market which reacts just like any capitalistic entity - supply and demand. People raced to put money in the market - stocks went up. The demand was great which put pressure on the supply. Prices went up. The scumbag had little to do with it other than encouraging the printing of money by the fed. Now stocks are going up because companies are actually profitable. I know that's a bad word for you idiots but it works!
