Hi, how did you know what type of bearings you need? I'm building a Pioneer engine and it's confusing.
Plastigauge test. See the part in the video where I have that green plastic smashed on the crank and I check it with a gauge. That’s how I know how much clearance the oil has on the plain bearings.

Man, Im having hell getting my engine out. How did you get it out of there all in one piece like that?
Factory manual says it comes out the passenger compartment.
Can you give any guidance on what areas get sealant on the crankcase halves and which areas do not get sealant? This is not very clear in the manual.

Can you do a sub transmission breakdown?
I would have eventually. But I moved and changed dealerships. I'm now working for Indian motorcycles.
The crankshaft connecting rod journals are only 90° out of phase…..that’s so weird
How do you line the crank and cam up if your just changing the cylinder head gasket?

Do u do Talon engine mods?
Africa twin based engine?

@longsleevethong1457 have rebuilt both honda pioneer 1000 motors and Africa twin motors.. they are the same motor.. same as this motor

How much did this cost?
I really don't remember the cost. But It was covered by Honda.
These are brand new..who killed their talon already?
Air filter bolt was dropped down the intake. Then ran the engine. Destroyed the head, piston and cylinder 😬
