From the 1941 feature compilation, "Charlie Chaplin Cavalcade". The short itself was originally re-released by Van Beuren in March 1934. Winston Sharples arranged and conducted the studio band, wih Artie Shaw and Bunny Berigan sitting in as sidemen.
This short was my introduction to Charlie Chaplin way back in 1982. I remember how i couldnt stop laughing when he got clunked by the upstairs clock!!! I was laughing from beginning to end!

I wish Netflix didn’t take the Chaplin collection down. Had a real good soundtrack I always liked, this is very similiar.
