I remember meeting Kriss Kyle and the rest of the BSD team when they came to AZ a long time ago for one of those Instagram Calling the Shots things. The funny thing is I didn’t know who any of them were, except David Grant and Malouf. I was just at my local park to get a morning session in when these dudes rolled up. I knew Malouf pretty well because I had rode with him and David Grant countless times before so that day just felt like a regular park session except for this dude Kriss was doing crazy flair to manual lines out of a 4ft qt, brakeless. It’s crazy to see this dude still progressing from what I thought was mind blowing to be able to witness firsthand. Also, BSD crew was the nicest team of dudes. Dan, David, Tony, Kriss were some of the most down to earth riders I’ve ever had the pleasure of spending a day riding with.
Only 8 days ago I put my BSD 21.1" Freedom frame, 30mm offset Acid V2 fork and 9" Freedom handlebars together, all in Lava Orange! Threw a new orange XLT Revolution wheelset on it and (no offence) went with 170mm Fiend Segment cranks and a Fiend Morrow V3 stem. Put some orange Jonesin' pedals, Passenger grips and M-Cap bar ends to round out the colour. Finished it off with a 28 tooth Fit Key Guard sprocket, Sunday Seeley 5" pegs, Dia-Compe Goldfinger lever, Maxxis Torch tyres and a set of Tubolitos. It's a fantastically dialled ride! Huge thanks to LUX BMX for getting everything in so quick and making the whole build hassle-free.
Bro I’m about to all bsd build. The only thing keeping me back is the 69• seat tube angle. Should I get a 21.1 or 21.5 since I’m coming off a 21.2 with 71 angle
Love it! What color are the tires? White? Or carbon grey? The carbon grey tires look darker online. But the tires you're running in the video look brighter.
I dig this color scheme but I bent those XLT rims in less than 5 minutes. Maybe I had too wide of tires on but still, I’ve never ruined rims so quickly in my life. Absolutely love this frame though, I have the 2022 lite teal version and it’s solid. Only question I wanted to ask is why make the seat tube angle 69.5 degrees? For me it looks kinda ugly and puts me further back on the bike. I prefer 71 or even 72 I’m seeing on the new Focus and Steezy frames that just came out. That’s the only minor issue I have with the frame but other than that it’s been really solid and the back end is super rigid. If you do spin tricks it’s amazing.

Really digging that color combo.
Looks awesome with the orange rims, the stickers and the bar ends.

@@2wheels1love21yeah man I hate that 69.5 degree seat angle. It drives me crazy. Idk why he makes it like that. I want 71 or 72 personally.
Ride almost the same bike, except for the saddle and the rims (Soulja and Nasa) as a 50-year-old beginner. and I am totally satisfied
Wow you are set to shred, fairs
@@benmillward1640 yes🤣🤣🤣
@@benmillward1640 After the fail, however, there was a 12-week break

Nice bike
Made one with black rims and full front and back brakes
How do you make revolution hub sound more louder??? Im currently using one now 👍🏻🤔🤔🤔
How tall and wide is that mini half-pipe?
I think it's 4ft tall and about 10ft wide
@@BSDBMX1991 can pls explain why Kriss likes the 69.5 seat tube angle? Little off subject but I really want this frame!
@@CrackerrJack it just makes the seat a little more laidback from the BB, more out of the way for barspins and whips without having a long front end
@@BSDBMX1991 ahh thank you!!!!!!
Wowww
Think he may have forgotten to mention the grips? 🤔
He runs black passenger grips
Good🙌🐗
I would love that bike, but would rather have his abilities

What’s the difference between the standard acid forks and the v2 acid forks ?
The dropouts are a little smaller on v2
