hey guys, this is mostly an updated version of my original combo guide, with the modern optimal bnbs that I go for in-game. hopefully this helps you and thank you for watching! 00:00 - Normal Hit 1:04 - Counterhit Combos 2:37 - Low Parry 2:53 - Heat Combos 4:27 - Heat Smash 4:37 - Throw 4:54 - Stage Hazards 6:08 - Outro
A wonderful video indeed. Always considered my Bryan combos subpar, so your ideas and combo routes give me new inspiration to work with this aspect and experiment more. Thanks a lot!
Thanks for the combo reassurance TY. I was already doing most of these combos, and I was worried that I may not be doing ones that maximize my damage output. Although with that in mind now, I will instead double down on defensive training and TJU training instead to improve my gameplay further.
Yeee, thank you! I have a question, why do you choose to SSR before the Qcf+3,4 knees with f41, orbital etc? Is this required, does it help with consistency or why do you do it?
You can use f1+2 after jet upper into d3+4,2. It tornadoes them early but the damage increase is pretty significant. I think it does ~78-80 without walls or heat. (Your current jet upper combo is 75dmg) Maybe your combo is more consistent off-axis though?
How to consistently land QCF 3,4 after jet upper with Bryan? I always end up defaulting to F 1+2 to continue combos after launching because i end up dropping the combo whenever I try QCF 3,4
What you need to change depends on how you're dropping it. If the qcf+3,4 is hitting but the opponent is too low to connect b+2 after, then you probably need to start the dash earlier than you think you can and/or input the qcf+3,4 earlier. The dash should be pretty short. If you're not getting the qcf+3 to come out in the first place, then you need to work on cleaning up your inputs. The timing in this combo actually isn't too strict so you want to focus on properly inputting a dash and then a smooth quarter-circle. Go slow at first. It's much better to start with precision and get faster over time than it is to try to start fast and get more precise.
Is b1, b2f4, b24, dash, qcf3, uf3+4, dash, b21~f21 not consistent enough to include? I haven’t been seeing it a lot and I’m wondering if that’s why since it seems to do the most damage
Yours sounds pretty similar to the one I do but the one I do is an easier one from what you posted, ill have to try yours. Mine is b1, b2 f4, b2 4, dash, d3+4 2, dash, b2 1 f 1+2. But sometimes after the tornado I like to end with a qcf2 2 into qcf1+2 on oki. Doesn't work on bears though for the b24 after the b2f4. They have stubby legs lol Damage isn't always what makes an optimal combo though, Ty's might have better carry or oki which will end up with more damage in the long run since you are controlling the battlefield. I'm just not quite good enough to do some of them yet lol
@@baconbitz7804 I didnt include that one just because I find it really hard to get that small dash into the b21, unless you already have snake eyes. If you had snake eyes already I think it's worth going for but It's really droppable at least for me, and the dmg increase isnt too huge to make it worth imo

Cheers for these. School is probably more important than content but I always insta click your Bryan vids when I see them
Please upload your rank matches. W vid btw! 💪
Thanks for the sauce Ty!
Very helpful thank you.

Sensei dropped another banger 🙏🏼
Thanks a lot
While rising 2 combo i discovered in practice myself even before watching this 😮
Been a minute since the last vid, hope all is good bro! Looking forward for an insane run next year 👊
Appreciate it bro. Been busy with school but trying to get back on the grind!
Thank you! I needed it ^_^

I just can’t do this microdash, any advice lol
Yo ty what makes a combo “optimal”?
Best mix of damage, oki, carry, etc. While also being realistic to perform consistently
Did you know that if you do a heat smash and it is blocked by hwoarang, an immediate d2 afterwards will whiff?
New to tekken and leverless pad, and I feel like it’s impossible to even do the first combo. But then again I only have very few hours on tekken

The answer is probably just practice lol
@El-Burrito That stuff is ridiculously hard to do. I thought there was some kind of trick to it xD

@DeathsIntent96 Thanks, much appreciate it! 👊
@@Blaske-o4p the way I look at it is very quickly interrupting the dash with qcf 3,4

@ I could definitely see worse oki but I think the wall carry should be about the same. It could also be worse at certain distances from the wall

for whatever reason ssr-dash B3F2,1 is so hard to do. deep dash into b3f2,1 works semi consistently
whichever one is easier for you you can do. for me personally i find the small ssr microdash to be super consistent
🦾
You should implement the b2,1 after jet uper
B2 4 instead of knees after launch is more optimal
