Buzzed my hair 6 months ago and never looked back. Very freeing and liberating!! It felt like I released all things that didn't serve me any longer. Like shedding your skin.

I’m 58 and have been buzzing my hair with a #2 for two years. It is SO liberating not to think about my hair anymore. No shampoo or any other products needed. Wake up good to go. Rain and humidity don’t ruin my look for the day. So many positives.
Nice cut. 55 and shaved one side and the back 2 months ago. Gonna shave the other side this month. Eventually, I’ll go extremely short and won’t look back. Thanks for all your encouraging videos! 50 plus rocks!!!
You are going to love the buzz cut when you get there. It took me awhile to get to the point where I knew I wanted to do this and you'll know when it's time to do the full buzz cut!

I'm 74 had hair down to myshoukder blades and yesterday I buzzed mine out just like this. I am a retired hairdresser and have always worn my hair short but never total buzz. Feel so good

I go and see Ken about twice a year and the rest of the time I buzz my own. When I first buzzed my hair I just walked into a barber shop (here in town) and told them to buzz it. It was hands down the best decision I ever made!

I buzzed mine for the first time about a month ago. 49. I'm obsessed. I will never have hair again. I even considered getting a wig, I still might, but I freaking LOVE my number 1. I love the salt & pepper colour. I used to dye my hair often. When it was long it was so much to deal with. Now I don't even have to shampoo. i do like black hair though so I might get a long black wig with a fringe.
I'm with you - I can't imagine ever going back to having a bunch of hair again! I think the wig idea is an amazing idea!!

62 yo here and I've had this cut for over 20 years and always get lots of compliments from men and women. It's a very stylish look no matter what age. Ps. One caveat, it looks best on oval faces the best.

Thank you Heidi! - Ken uses a Wahl clipper and he used a 1, 3 and 5 guard. Lowest on the bottom :)
@@grayhairandtattoosLonni, are 1,3 and 5 the guard numbers or the size of the guards in mm? I ask because a no. 5 guard is 16 mm and your hair looks much shorter.
I've already got a buzz cut but decided to go shorter for summer I have a number 3 buzz cut.

i can never let my hair grow out the buzz has been me over 30yrs some people like me just look better without hair hair always made me look older ,,i have a small thin face oval and hair makes me look tired and it brings my oval face down to the floor ,i looked 30 when i was 16 on my school pic,,,the key to the perfect buzz cut is to not get lined up no shape ups keep it natural lines the line ups look hard and masculine!

Yes - he was using a Whal Clipper and he used a 1, 2 and 3. Lowest on the bottom and he worked his way up 💜

We are so incredibly hard on ourselves. I waited until I was 58 to get my nose pierced because I thought my nose was too big. I guarantee you are the only one who thinks you have a "Turkey Neck" so please don't be hard on yourself and get whatever haircut you want. Even a buzz cut! 💜

Haircut is beautiful. I just don't understand why men and women mess themselves up with a lot of tattoos. A few ok, but the entire arm or entire anywhere is not cute.
Love the buzz cut however not the tattoos.
