- Goodday everyone , How's everyone doing today?
We are here at the HongKong Boy Street Food @ Taman Johor Jaya - Johor Bahru and I will be meeting up with Pat & Guilia ( from Veggies On Tour) once again for dinner but here's the challenge. As both of them are vegetarians, it will be my task to navigate this area to come out or find vegetarian or suitable food for them? How will we fare? Join us for today's vlog.
Just to take the time, for a short intro about myself, I'm JT and welcome to my channel. This channel is about travel, culture, food & family fun. Currently most of the travels would be in Malaysia( mainly in Johor Bahru )& sometimes in Singapore as well but I will be covering the various and different states every now and then. And as for food, I am a foodie so basically as long there is tasty food, good spots or hidden places, I will try my best to cover them for you guys.
Remember to share, like and subscribe. Do comments, give suggestions and feedback as well. This year will be an exciting year to look forward to as I have new plans for this channel. Stay tune & stay safe.

Must have been such an enjoyable evening. Food choices look endless.
Well, it was a slight challenge but at the end, all was OK , it was a good get together .Thanks for watching
Very impressive. Quite good choices of food.
Been to this street food street. Amazing place for street food lovers and more Singaporeans are coming here on weekends. Guess news travels fast. Seems like you guys really had a ball of a time. Keep it up ,JT
Yup, it does seems like more Singaporeans on weekends.... which is not a surprised since AEON, Toppen, IKEA is only a 5 minute drive away....And not forgetting ,the good selection of street food.. Cheers mate!
A little late to the party. Wow, real nice of you to catch up with Veggies on tour again. Fabulous.
No problem and yup, it was a good meetup with them since the pandemic started. Will be hoping to catch up with them some time soon in the future. Cheers mate!
If there's anyone that pull this one off, it's you. 👍🏼
Haha!... Pretty much I think anyone can do it... I just had the "homeground" advantage... Thanks again for the support
Seems like you guys were having a great time. Well done, bro.
Pretty good get together i must say.
For the fried hokkien bee hoon, I thought the chef will usually cook with their broth that is simmered in pork bones.
I think i get where you are coming from... I did remind the lady owner, that the dish is meant for vegetarians, so she understood the situation. Beside, if they used the lard or pork crisp I could already smell it the moment it was on the table, fortunately, I taste the bee hoon was stir-fry with sweet sauce... anyway . it was healthy meal.
@@BreakawayBites Awesome bro,
Love your videos.
Great place for food. I used to live very near. Sadly, now I'm the other side of the City.
Well, you can always go there on weekends coz everywhere in JB is pretty easy to move around. Cheers mate.
@@BreakawayBites True story, but I have a many great food opportunities close to home. But, I did make a vlog there about 3 years ago.
Hi. There r many hawker food to taste. Which is the best to explore ? Thxs.
Honestly, you will be spoilt for choices... Food standard here is pretty good.... The grilled fish ( particularly grilled stringray ) , satay / lok-lok /prawn noodles, etc.... anyway, take your time to explore.... Friday night, Sat night & Sun nights , that is where you see the crowd and all the stalls are up and running.... Thank for watching yea!.. Cheers!
You can at least display the name of the food that you are eating in video as sometimes we cannot hear properly what you are saying. Not everyone are familiar with Malaysia food.
I will take note of that. Yes, i do agree that not everyone
is familiar with Malaysian / Singapore cuisine. Nevertheless, I have added some information / details in the description. Anyway, thanks for the comments and appreciate the support.
