Its crazy how good Tyson was at cs but he just lacked skills in everything but aim (his other skills were inadequate when comparing it to his aim) compared to new and more experienced pros, he relied on his aim and a game like cs is mostly aim but when the game started evolving to a mind game requiring skills like team synergy, gamesense and mental at the same time Tyson entered the pro scene, he was an insane player that got really unlucky with the timing of the evolving of the pro scene. Same thing with valorant now, he is insanely talented in every given way but he just got unlucky with how fast the pro scene evolved, i mean if you take a look at when he won the vct iceland tournament, he heavily relied on his aim and his ability to carry the team but when other teams and pros caught up they were stuck in the never ending loop of playing good but inadequate for winning any more world championships because TenZ couldnt carry anymore and they needed a new roster that didnt have to always work around his playstyle and his ability to frag out because valorant is 50% aim 20% util usage and 30% team synergy but when you become pro the team synergy and util usage becomes way more important which is a valuable lesson to any upcoming valorant or cs pros with cs2 coming out soon.
personally, I think any pro player today is smart. stewie2k said it a couple years back too about how people call tarik dumb. to be on the top level of any game, you can't be dumb or not have less game knowledge than an average player. I'd say at any pro level teams will have different viewpoints and have aim at 40-30% or even 60%, really doesn't matter what number you put on it, it's a different coach and roster for every team. They play towards their strong sides and attributes. I think Tenz getting put as "unlucky" in the evolution of the pro scene is unfair, he wouldn't be a pro anymore if it was him not being able to adapt. game metas change, he played differently and it worked out in other people's favor more, it's just how I explained coaches and pro players will have different game play styles. i think h'es gotten unlucky with people judging him heavily and calling him washed, like man, he's still one of the best valorant players and was a crazy talent on csgo. if you had your newly wedded wife be diagnosed with cancer, it'd be almost impossible to even get dressed in the morning from how painful that is, and we're judging him cuz he can't play at 100% capacity against the best players in the world? at the end of the day, we enjoy tenz playing because its tenz. he's a human like us, he has bigger things to worry about than being better at shooting pixels on his monitor than other people. send the dog some love fr.
