Jaco was a great fan of black culture early on. I knew him in the early 60's as my best friend in elementary school. And thankfully my parents did not have a prejudiced bone in their bodies; Dad taught me great black singers from Mahalia Jackson to Joe Williams. R.I.P. all lovely loving souls!

Beginning sounds like in my room
ok so I found a cool "mash-up" version trick thing to do. It fits perfect! Take Jaco's piano bit at the end of this track & then take Punk Jazz off Word of Mouth Revisited, & start the latter track over the piano bit, but only @ 8:15 into the piano bit, if that makes sense. The Sax on Punk Jazz fits so perfect with Jaco's piano, the Punk Jazz takes off perfectly!. here's the other track I'm talkin about ua-cam.com/video/dBIx40LPTqY/v-deo.html

. Not sure who oversaw this recording, but it’s a shame… Sound, arrangements, there’s an odd synth comping in the back…minor/major chords messed up..
Which song do you mean? There are several compositions on the LP. Teresa has Jaco! composed in Stuttgart at Jazzpoint Records. Teresa was his last very good friend who accompanied Jaco at the Italy gymnastics. Sendecky put his playback on it much later. It has nothing to do with the music. But he did it very well.
