I absolutely loved the delayed "met", "one" and "on" in the end because hearing the entire arena sing those words a beat before him sounded fantastic. I'm sure some might disagree.
Edit: I also just noticed that his wife is one of the background dancers.

I've been to his gig in Warsaw a couple days ago and he performed this as the very last song. I was mesmerized as I heard myself sing first, and him afterwards. Most people from the crowd already knew they gotta delay it though haha

His first performance in Eurovision, despite winning for Iceland two years in a row. First year it was cancelled because of Covid, second year his group had Covid and couldn’t perform. But this was so much fun to see, he looks so happy to be there!

Marco and Loreen were the top two of the jury votes and they were both past contestants. And yeah, he would EASILY get most of the public’s votes if there wasn’t some crazy good song that year.

I was in the audience for a semi final rehearsal, they singers know where the cameras are, his pointing is all part of his act.

If it had to happen - a show like Eurovision being canceled and a great artist like Daði not winning due to a dsmn pandemic - in a way, I'm glad it was Daði. Only him could have made it this iconic.

@@jenniferd37 from the viewers perspective she's just behind him at to the right, about two dancers over and one back roughly. You cannot see her when they zoom in on him from the front. You can see her when they first start panned out then zoom in. And again when they film from the left and zoom in. Hope that helps :) 01:02 is best
