I like it that the duration between pics gives us a chance to really focus on them. Also, I believe we got to see the first EVs and RVs and wasn't that Edison posing for the very first "Can you hear me how?" commercial?

    Excellent.
Please consider making captions much smaller, as they obscure the photos.

The photos are very interesting and the music is so lovely and relaxing! I'm officially hooked on this channel. This would be so much better to watch before bed than true crime viceos!

Yes he is actually taking the very famous photo of the ironworkers sitting on the girder high up over Manhattan eating lunch. The photo itself was actually a publicity stunt.
Here is an excerpt form a Smithsonian story behind the photo"
"On September 20, 1932, high above 41st Street in Manhattan, 11 ironworkers took part in a daring publicity stunt. The men were accustomed to walking along the girders of the RCA building (now called the GE building) they were constructing in Rockefeller Center. On this particular day, though, they humored a photographer, who was drumming up excitement about the project’s near completion. Some of the tradesmen tossed a football; a few pretended to nap. But, most famously, all 11 ate lunch on a steel beam, their feet dangling 850 feet above the city’s streets.

It’s sad that over 100yrs not much has changed… charging cars in 1930’s… you guys it’s 2024 and we still have charging cars… I mean shit the only thing we really did was just add on.. so in a ignorant way of thinking nothing has changed.

That’s a very good point. Many thought it would be like the Jetsons by now. But I heard Elon explain how flying cars cannot ever be a mainstream thing for the masses … no way to control the traffic and crashes/ malfunctions etc. means they’d just fall out onto civilians… not to mention the mass terrorism it would enable. An absolute non-starter and why we remain stuck somewhat in the past.
