You can reset the feed time on the quick set I have one at ten seconds and the other at five seconds. With that said I do thank you for the custom part of this I have tried numerous times to change the time on quick set and now I know how to use the custom part of this thing. I hate to say how many times I tried to set that time and could not. Thanks again and if American hunter sees this please revise your instructions because they suck.

How do you NOT include how to install the battery into the device? And yes, the slop in the "fit" keeps the contact from continuity with the contacts, so I created a wedge, works perfectly now. THANK YOU!!!

Great video. I have these same feeders and I agree with you. Its a lot of trial and error until you figure it out. Custom setting is important so that you can account for daylight savings time and the amount of daylight you get in a day.
Its pretty easy once you figure how the timers work. Custom mode is a must for DST. The instructions how to use it are on the inside of the spreader underneath the cover. Thanks for watching and liking my video. TYMM :)

Nice video, easy to follow. IF you decide to do another video, do it over the solar charger addition to this product. The instructions say to remove the enternal battery when using the solar power charger. Failure to do so can cause damage to timer. Makes no sense to me.
I read that as well but hadn't planned on using a solar panel on it bc I think the plug in spot for the cord isn't in the best place. I think I will try it though.
You should do some follow up videos giving a follow up reliability report on this feeder. Some game camera photos and hunting videos would be cool too. Keep making your content and I'll keep giving thumbs up.

Do you know if you need the 6V battery for the solar panel setup to work, or can the solar panel substitute the power to the panel? Also if you want 2x a day every day of the week at say 2:00am & 2:00pm would you need to set 14 custom settings?
I don't know about using a solar panel with it. I've not tried using one on it yet. No, you do not need to set up 14 settings if you only wish to do 2 custom settings.

Unsure but it's pretty easy. There are plastic pieces that simply turn and click into place. No screws or tools needed.
