When you go from a cold car to the hot outside you should let the camera adjust to the temperature change in your bag for a while before you take it out otherwise you are going to get moisture built up on the inside of the lens and it can cause your lens to grow mold and will ruin it.
Maybe you should keep the doors shut and put a doggie door in so Brody can come and go in the daytime but you can cover it at night so unwanted nocturnal animals can’t get in😁
