    we need a tutorial about rigging animals like spiders,birds, snakes, dogs. A warrior holding sword and shield would be good too.

      curious about this as well since this video was posted over a year ago now. having a ton of baked in frames is beyond useless, and the time it would take to manually reduce frames you might as well just block out the anim from scratch

    hows it possible that mixamo skel is compatible with ue5 skel in cascadeur? im curious hows that possible? in unreal you cannot import mixamo animations to ue5 skel without retargeting.... is it because the rig in cascadeur makes it compatible with both?

    so if we import mixamo animations and pass them tru this filter then Marketplace will consider this as Cascadeur or will have same issue that they came from mixamo ?

    Sir I'm facing a problem . i did as shown in this video but when I choose physics ghost then physics ghost Start jumping from frame 1 and land on last frame . How can I solve this problem.please help and this is only happening with physics ghost or physics body.

    Anyone else having problems with the install? The login screen and the u.i seem to be in gibberish but each letter is one letter forward i.e a becomes b, so makes it impossible to use.

    3:04 Why is it that if I import Fbx/Dae Animation through a file, it says “failed to load file”? Imported only if you simply drag the file into the scene

    how can I do this if the animation model and my model are differently rigged?

      they make you retarget manually, renaming all of your bones and it's a process with no payoff because once it's retargeted, it's an unrecognizable mess.

      I renamed all my bones (to the cascadeur format) and deleted some bones that didn't fit and it works. @@sktglt

    Great tutorial! One problem I'm having is that even though I'm able to successfully import and use the animations, when in autopose mode, if I move or rotate and joint whatsoever, the model "snaps" back to its default position that it was imported in. Any way to remedy this?

      @@elise7038 I believe so. Apparently what was happening is that I was moving the model with the current frame (the thin vertical red line in the timeline) set on an interpolation interval instead of an actual keyframe (the dark blue ones). You CANNOT edit a model's armature of an interpolated frame, only on keyframes. So, to do this, you need to either turn that frame into a keyframe (press f) OR, look at the bar right above the timeline for a button that looks like this: 🚫. This button controls what happens when you edit an interpolated frame. If you set it to A, the frame you edit your armature on will automatically turn into a keyframe without you needing to press f. Hope you find this helpful :)

    yeah tried it with my own actual custom character and it's a complete abomination. Might wana get yourselves a tool worth using for actual artists.

    One thing that seems to never change is that these videos all end the same, does not matter who makes them. What is the purpose of all this animation? Can you make a movie? WHAT IS THE END RESULTS? IS THIS FOR CREATING GAMES? WHAT IS THE PURPOSE????? OK, COOL, YOU CAN MAKE THIS RIG DANCE SO WHAT!!!! SHOW ME THE END RESULTS????????? A THOUSAND VIDEOS OF THE SAME THING😢😢😢

      That's tutorial to export mixamo animation to cascadeur, chill, nobody wants to come for a tutorial and then see 8 minutes of guy showing off what you can do with that (except maybe you). If you want to see end results go to their blog or sum where they show the portfolio. Answering your question, it's for creating games mostly, you can use it for movies but for that reason Maya probably would be better anyway.

Your request is simply horseradish, because you're stuttering on a random tutorial that wasn't meant to be a software preview.       @@jesseallen1742 There are enough videos for Cascadeur that show how to work with any feature you'd like. Yeah, there are not tons of them but community of that software is not that big too. I don't know what feelings you're talking about lad, your responses honestly sound like you're the one upset over a comment on UA-cam lol.
