…As opposed most of the music branding tips on the Internet which are just “find yourself” or “communicate with your audience”…
Which is all TRUE but unless you are a Zen monk or a Jedi Knight from Star Wars…
Finding yourself isn’t going to ACTUALLY produce tangible results when it comes to gaining fans this week, this month, or even this YEAR.
“Finding yourself”, much like “finding your purpose” is a lifelong journey that goes through periods.
Building a BRAND… Shouldn’t take THAT long. What’s more important is the actual MUSIC.
Let’s give you some tangible music branding ideas that you can use TODAY.

Easy Definition of A Music Brand
The easiest way to define a music brand is simply how your marketing makes people feel.
And just like the fact certain words, images, and colors, change the way people “feel” when watching a movie…
…The same goes for music marketing. We’ll get into this more in this article.

Color schemes are actually easier than you expect… at least in finding one that will DO for now, and how to replicate it across websites and other marketing materials…

I’m a vet in the biz been making beats and Producing underground independent hip hop music since 1987. I’ve been managing him and coaching him for last 2 yrs building his studio boosting his confidence and trying to get him industry ready. We clash on lots of things but none so much as him getting his head around branding and fans making a mental link between what the see and what they hear and how that relates to show they feel and what they think when they hear his music. Really great info and tips! I guess the trouble is for some people..(ahem, like me) that we aren't sure quite what feeling we are trying to evoke in viewers / listeners with our branding... I love designing as well as rapping. I can make my own logo and make it 3D. I love 3D logos with realistic looking chrome. I can design a futuristic brand and logo. I've been designing since 2012.

A lot of rappers haven't any or very little visual art notions/big interest, imagination and/or talent and are not really intersted about the visual way to express their.. unikness, what defines them. Not willing to be rude or what at all, just saying because all this is really unpersonnal and personnaly, loving visual art since and doing it since before music I need to create all this by my own.
