I don't know where you're getting your reccomendations but you're missing some good versions. "Breathe" is part of their 10th Anniversary concert at Pepsi Center CDMX in 2023. It was professionally filmed and recorded and is some of their best examples of live performances. If you had captions on from Spanish to English you could have seen what Pau was saying to the audience of 8,000 before she began. Pau also did "Black Holes" just before "Breathe" which was almost as emotional. Dany also does a solo performance on acoustic guitar later which should also be viewed with captions on. This concert was 23 songs of greatness. You should enjoy it.
I think these videos are from a while ago, I remember seeing a compilation on another channel of all the times Vin and Sori reacted to The Warning and this video was in there
I really don't understand how reactors can sit and listen to Pau talk over the opening chords and not even look like they are curious about what she is saying. Gee, maybe what she is saying is important?! When I see this happen, I almost immediately click off of the video.
Also, the “dead friend” story is a myth. Pau has explained this song is about a panic attack set to music. The friend who died rumor is a fan fiction story that is simply not true.
This is basically a panic attack set to music what people feel when they have anxiety so hard they can’t breathe and that’s what moves people when they hear this song
hillyowe tells it perfectly, but I'd like to add, Paulina and sisters wrote about this in their first album, XXICB, also known as 21st century blood, they/she wrote about being caught up in the rush, I believe Pau is fighting that not to happen, but please check out the official concert from that night, it's an amazing testament to these 3 sisters fighting for their dream, and now it's happening, the Pepsi center concert Rocks the house heavily
This song is about fear inside yourself… The fear of life, the fear of what others think, but most importantly fear that can not be defined but you can feel out of nowhere…. Artistry from Pau at its highest form…. Emotion she did not feel comfortable revealing initially but gave us her gift like few before her.
I underatnd your comments... It's also the reason-the world will probably never hear that song live again. She offered her pain to us, so we all could heal. She offered her soul to the people she cares about the most: her sisters, her family, her team, her fans-all the people who support her. And in the actual official concert version - you can hear (at the end) the crowd call back to her - call her name (not to praise her) but to give the love back to her... because they (and we all) love Pau and need her to heal. We all love Dany... We all love Ale... and we want them to "be alright." Long live DPA... Long live The Warning.
For this performance, she had the weight of 10 years as a working band, she had just sung black holes, and was looking out at 8000 fans with their phone lights on.
No Official Video... you need to pick their videos from their channel they do have pretty much every song there and they do have this song with obviously much better quality. So, when looking for an "official" video, start by looking at their channel... This fan cam is cot very good.
WRONG. You're thinking of "Black Holes", which she wrote from an alcoholic's/addict's perspective of losing hope. This song IS based on Pau's personal experience suffering from very severe panic attacks.

I always find it amazing how Pau's ballads can just pull such emotional responses from all of us, even when we've seen/heard the songs several times.

Pau's family will always be with her, and be her strength.
When my mother died, my sister told her that you can go now. She never woke up, but I am glad she died in peace.

such a powerful & beautiful song & performance! ♥
Fan-cam video instead of the official concert footage is an interesting (strange) choice.
Beautiful and Heartbreaking at the same time!

The vid from their channel is so much better...

This is a bonus track on error, recorded at their home, just Pau and a piano.
Why do your mic's always gut out after songs. We cant hear you at times.
If you are new to the music of the Warning and liked it, and would like to support them, go to their UA-cam channel and subscribe.
Thank you
Tears. Every. Time.

Pau wrote this from someone else's point of view. This was her expressing empathy for a person who has lost hope.
