This is great wisdom from Shawn Michaels. I'm a Christian and have lost many amazing opprotunities in life due to religious / legalistic scruples. God wants us to do what we're good at & engage the world. 1 John 2:15 is referring to the system of sin, not necessarily worldly things
It's a horrible testimony when we say we lost opportunity, etc. Jesus has not called us to a rigid religion. We walk by the Holy spirit. If we feel miserable, we need to ask him am I interpreting the word right? We need to have joy.
I belive he wanted u to go bacl to wwe and show the light of the Lord. To the rest of the locker room i am a Christian and a wresling fan and i always loved shawn micheals even before i knew he was saved that makes me respecect him much more would like to meet shawn micheals one day

Shawn Michaels a man of God, a man after Gods own heart. 👊🕶👍
My first time at a WWE event, I realize that in real life, wrestling is more theatrics and not as bad as it looks on t.v. the wrestlers aren't actually hitting, and it's mostly gymnastics and acting. That's the positive, but on the other hand, the content, especially in the Smackdown era that aired on UPN 13 was on a Jerry Springer level, but since the company has gone public, the content is more G- Rated, which is great. For a time, Smackdown had become so raunchy, there wasn't a point in it. Raunchy for being raunchy. So, in that sense, I could understand Shawn Michaels self-reflection, but like he said if he could represent Christ in wrestling then it would be positive.
I agree with some of what you said but not all of it wrestling yes it’s predetermined but that doesn’t mean it’s fake there’s actually physical contact it’s not touch football they might pull punches the moves and skills are real there’s nothing fake about that and I’m speaking from experience because I’ve went to wrestling school and I’ve had first hand experience it’s way more to it then what people think it is
💜💙
Thank you God the Father God the Son and God the Holy Spirit for everything you do in my and family and friends life I love you so much God the Father God the Son and God the Holy Spirit with all of my heart and soul In Jesus mighty and powerful name I pray amen and amen 🙏 ✝️
Our God can not tempt, and most definitely can not be tempted. So Shawn was right about him not believing God was tempting him with his wrestling career
I'm born again Christian I still watch wrestling is it sinful please tell
No. Sports aren't sinful lol. You're fine
I redicate my life to Jesus Christ so help me God in Jesus name Amen 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏 by Steve Irungu Jermaine
In the case of Shawn Michaels, he has still been willing to show sinful habits with the WWE. Being a part of a storyline where God was his absent tag team partner didn't seem too Christian to me. Even not-so-accepting Homer Simpson, who was in fact on the cover of the Saint Flanders edition of Billy Graham's Christianity Today, demonstrates how not all weekly church goers are loyal followers.
Are you comparing fictional characters to real life people?
@@MichaelR43 Of course. Homer Simpson is in fact too real when it comes to being a metaphor for weekly church-goers who are not into church. His realistic representation of hypocritical churchgoers is perhaps a good reason why he made the cover of Billy Graham's magazine Christianity Today's February 5, 2001 edition known as Saint Flanders. You can find a few of these people in many churches, like I can with my church. For anybody with a lack of real knowledge of the private life of Shawn Michaels, you cannot confirm or deny that he is a Homer Simpson-like church goer.
@@minewheaties5029 man grow up and stop taking everything so serious that’s what’s wrong with people they’re way too sensitive it’s called storylines and acting out a character
@@dantecarroll2435 No, it is you who needs to grow up. Just like Vince McMahon being forced to exploit his real-life of adultery in his storylines, Michaels fit in with that storyline so well. I wouldn't be surprised if it turns out that it was actually former USA Network owner and Mr. Burns inspiration Barry Diller who made him closer to Jesus. Just like Mr. Burns, the secular Jew Diller will fund churches to make fools out of the weak-minded.
@@minewheaties5029 listen how are you going to tell someone else how they should live their life you’re a hypocrite the Bible says to judge not unless you be judged and most importantly you need to worry about yourself and get your own personal relationship with God instead of worrying about anybody else make sure you have your life in order because none of us on this earth has the authority to Judge anybody how are you gonna tell people how to live their life and you probably don’t even have your priorities and spiritual life in order
I don't know, there's something fishy here, besides shawn's cap, who's this guy real lord??? Jesus Christ or money, fame and money??? This kind of humans can't survive a day without being surrounded with luxuries and money, money, money, I'd like to see this people serving God in real missions in places where the people really need help, not in those big temples with their wealthy community, talking everything on their own favor
Just because people have money doesn't make them evil.
Who are you to say that? Lol. You’re really questioning a dudes salvation based off a 2 minute video....might want to remove the log from your own eye first.
Jealousy is pretty ugly.
How about you learn how to think before you speak who are you to judge anybody Jesus Christ said to remove the speck out of your own eye before you try to help get it out of someone else’s eye in other words make sure you got your life and priorities in order before you try to tell people how to live their life
