What about silver contacts anybody know what to do with them? I've got hundreds and don't know what to do with them.
There are ways on UA-cam to process them. I process my own.
The acid trick and there are other ways to separate it up on UA-cam. I save all mine, too, and gold contacts and fingers
The problem is that fiber optics is taking over, and its glass wire and faster then copper
This week i got 64 cents per pound for clean sheet, 30 cents for 70% aluminum breakage
I got 5.56/lb on 1A bare bright copper today. In Canadian dollars. ICW2 was $1.87/lb, Brass $3.2 3/lb, tinshred was 290/ton, Extrusion .98/lb, Cast Alum .60/lb....
I have a question for you. I recently took in aluminum soccer nets that we cut down. They were very heavy and solid aluminum. We had to take them into piles and we got a separate Category each time we Went we made sure they were clean and cut to size to try to avoid any extra charges what would you run solid aluminum soccer nets at your yard?

Why are there different grades of aluminum when it all just gets melted down anyway ?
Probably almost 200 classifications for aluminum and different alloys
There are hundreds of different alloys, with different materials inside each one
