1silverbay Pure talent, yes -but also the experience that only comes from years on the road learning their craft by performing in clubs around America to all kinds of audiences before they found fame. These men really 'paid their dues' and earned all the accolades that came their way, unlike many of today's acts who think that appearing once on a TV 'talent' show makes them a star, when in reality if you put them in front of a real big band of genuine musicians instead of a computerised backing track, they would be totally lost.
