Won’t buy another Nike race shoe until they make them last longer
A good race day shoe shouldn't last a long time
They go fast for race day, hence their name
Every brands fast shoes don't last very long, it's not just nikes
@@jabberjay5749 don’t agree, adidas is putting out products that last twice as long, so is Saucony, Asics, etc.
nike has lost its durability in the Q&A process. Sure its a fast shoe but I can buy a fast shoe that lasts twice as long.
@dextersuarez9948 that's like expecting soft tires in f1 to last the whole race.
Jaja en argentina están más caras 😂😂
Bro took 'Walking on clouds' to a whole new level
Just ordered mine today! Let’s gooo
Amazing how well advertising works....
i got lucky finding these locally. half sized up and they fit incredibly perfect
These are great, i liked them so much I bought the volt concord as well.
I really want a pair so bad
Were did you buy them
230lbs I’ve played sports and military my whole life, hoka bondi 8 xwide is the best shoe I’ve owned for running. 2nd place is
Saucony Grid Marauder 3
Need to upsize this shoe, if you are 13us definitely buy the 14us
You are right on with that take!
An entire size up? Are they actually that tight? Is it just in the width of the shoe or in the toe area that they run small?
Sick design ❤
Cool 😎
Nike is really 🔥 making these for a race only, not for the club
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Dream Shoes
Apresentação ficou muito boa. Parabéns!
they look fun 👍
Please don't show this shoes, it's been a year i am searching for but its not available 😥
Looks like as a Jimmy shoes, Jimmy’ll try this
1500 no Brasil 😎
Uzb gaxam bitta kerakda shundan🎉
Any alternatives? Not paying that much
Wow so very very good
Nice
That's my exact size 😅
Nike ❤
I don't like where the Nike swoosh logo is cracked on the meeting point with the sole.
Music ❤ Best ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Hallo sar kya ap batashkta ho ki ya suj kiprayj kya ha
Will these shoes prevent me from joint pains ?
If you suffer joint prins try running in low drop shoes like Altra. Your calves will feel sore the first few weeks, but be bulletproof afterwards
Нет поддержки боковой поверхности, нет стакана для пятки, в них нет ничего от слова совсем, только носок и полметровая подошва! Да здравствуют вывихи и переломы лодыжек!!! Спасибо маркетологи найка от травматологов!
Work on your ankle strength. I have no problems with them. It’s your weak ankles.
Тебе снизу правильно написали. Проблема не в них
@@samforo ну да ну да, а в твоих кривых ногах.
@@gazzbet7273 так это у тебя кривые. Тебе ж поддержки мало . Купи сапоги резиновые. Там достаточно
Is Alphafly 3 only for fast runners? I run slowly, but I want to run with these running shoes, too. Is this a problem?
If you are a UK size 10 I would probably avoid for a while 😂
Hi. Thanks for your question.
No, the Alphafly 3 are not just for fast runners. However, they are likely to provide the most help and benefits when you’re trying to run faster. When we say ‘faster’ here, we mean what’s relative to you. This is because the midsole geometry should help improve your running economy and make running faster more sustainable.
Nike tested the AF3 with a wide range of running abilities: elites to 4 hour to 5 hour marathon runners. In our opinion, as long as you’re running from start to finish in an event, the AF3 should help you get to the finish line with more ease.
Finally, it’s worth noting that runners respond differently to super shoes and we can’t draw blanket conclusions. Two runners, who are very similarly paced, are very likely to experience varying changes in running economy in super shoes. This will probably be the case with the AF3. This statement is also not exclusive to a certain pace of runner. You would expect to see variances across a range of paces.
In summary, the AF3 can help runners over a wide range of paces. They’re not necessarily just for running fast, but hopefully they’ll help you achieve some quicker times - if that’s your goal.
@@run4it Thank you for your detailed explanation.🙏👍🫶
Any heel slippage ? If I know nike they’re the masters of it
Hi. The ankle collar fits very well, so I didn't experience any heel slippage. This was also the case when I raced a marathon in them.
is it worth the cost? i got the alphafly 2 for the vegas half marathon.
Thanks for your question. While it's impossible to say one particular super shoe is best, the AF3 feel exceptionally good. Given the amount of testing that's gone into their development, and how fast and comfortable they feel, they're definitely worth it. Having said that, the AF2 are exceptionally good racing shoes too, and they should help you a lot in the Vegas half marathon. If you enjoy running in the AF2, you should be able to transition into the AF3, when the AF2 are worn out. Good luck with your training.
Unfortunately the heel looks like it won't last as long as the #2`s and that is already the first thing to fail on them
Mine looks great 500 miles in. Just got to run properly on the forefoot
@@davidh5429"properly" for you isn't necessarily "properly" for someone else
Did 900km in my first pair of 2s. The heel didn’t go, the AirPod did. At 583km in my second pair and counting
they looks so good I want to wear them for daily use , do you think it's possible ?
We wouldn't recommend using the for daily use. The midsole is designed for your fast paced runs and racing. As a result, they're not as durable as daily mileage running shoes.
How many kilometers do you think you can get out of the Alphafly 3’s before a new pair is needed?
Thanks for your question. It’s difficult to say at this stage, as haven’t run enough in them to say. So wouldn’t want to under or over estimate.
However, the main benefit (improved running economy) in supershoes will diminish as you clock more miles in them. From a personal perspective, I wouldn’t race in these once I’ve run 200 miles in them. As it’s unlikely they’ll be making as much a difference at that point. At this stage, I’d start to use them for harder training sessions.
If you keep the AF3 for racing, and only do some key sessions in them, they should last for a decent number of marathons.
Thank you for the elaborate explanation. Much appreciated 😉

Hi bro can you recommend for sock for running the brand Nike ?
Hi - I use the Nike Spark Lightweight Running Socks. They're very breathable and feel extremely light. The only point to note is that they're not overly cushioned and are pretty thin.
Yeah, the spark seems good. I got the matching volt color for the new AF3. 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
Cheap and minimal cushioning is the way to go. All these will do is make you a heel striker and an unnatural runner
Nope these shoes are lliteral nightmare for heel strikers. You’re right about the durability though, not meant for training sessions.
It's for the runner pro ...
Try wearing a $75 running shoe on a half-marathon and show me your true grit and wherewithal. That is true warrior running. Using a $250 to $500 full-cushion, spring-loaded running shoe just aided your run with the "bounce".
Are they noisy like other Alphafly shoes, always know when someone passing me is wearing a pair 😂
😂 no they’re not. We actually talk about the noise in the main review. We suspect the continuous midsole geometry has had an effect here, as the AF3 are a lot quieter than the previous versions. The lower noise level is potentially down to the smoother transitions. The previous editions definitley make a distinct noise.
@run4it glad to hear it 😁 Quite fancy upgrading to a pair, used Endorphin Pro 3s for my marathons this year, but think the Alphaflys might help be get under 3hrs 🤞
@@alangray8952 the Endorphin Pro are certainly brilliant shoes and are great for marathons. I’d expect you’ll find the AF3 do feel more propulsive at race pace though. Everyone is different, and we’ll each respond in our own way to super shoes. However, I’ve never run in anything that feels as fast as the AF3 - they really are something else.
All the best with your running and good luck with the sub 3.
What socks and ruuning pants you have on?
Hi. The running pants are the Nike Dri-FIT ADV AeroSwift Racing Trousers. The socks are the Nike Spark Lightweight Running Ankle Socks.
@@run4it Thank you
Cal potcovit 😂😂😂
Does the toebox wide ?
Thanks for your question. The toe box feels relatively spacious. The AtomKnit fabric can also expand slightly and accommodate foot swelling.
From a personal perspective, I have a pretty broad forefoot and they fit me very well. However, I do wear thinner running socks with them. The forefoot feels too tight with more padded running socks.
Wretch 32
True to size?
Hi - they should fit the same as your normal Nike Running Shoes size. So yes, they fit true to size.
How much?
Hi - the Alphafly 3 RRP in the UK is £284.99.
i love the alphas ive had a few pair , my only complaint is for the price of $250+ they wear out rather quickly
They are racing shoes not meant for daily training so since they are racing shoes they didnt really focus on how durable they are
Looks like they give you an extra two inches of height
The stack height is 40 mm at the heel and 32 mm at the forefoot. However, there are running shoes that have even thicker midsoles, and are therefore not World Athletics approved.
2’s look way better
Nike quality really bad nowadays. U just wait for the mouth sole to open 😂
In your dreams . I think you have watched some fake alphafly 3 videos . Using my pair constantly for 5 month . No issue . 4 hours of continuous daily running ( 2 hr morning + 2hr evening ) and 3 hours of walking. And feels like brand new .
Price
$275
So was they good then???
Yeah they feel brilliant. They make running at race pace feel a lot more comfortable.
@@run4it and that’s what it’s all about! 👍🏻 cheers
Please bro give me this shoes
😢😢
Looks like you will roll your ankle
The foam is very soft, but they actually feel very stable underfoot. You have to check your pace slightly around tight corners, but it doesn't feel like your ankle will roll.
Please gift me the nike shoes 👟
Dedo yr 🥹
No
It's just like running on some ugly clouds
wow.. it looks very unstable..
The ZoomX foam is very soft. However, the midsole feels really stable to run in. The outsole grip, wider carbon fibre Flyplate, and supportive upper means they perform well around corners and tight turns too. These are probably the most stable feeling super shoes I’ve run in.
Made in China😂😂😂
WTF🤣🤣🤣?
You guys and your clunky sneakers and weak feet muscles
Enjoy your bunions
