    i kinda have a flat back shape. does that hamper me from getting a flexible vertebrae and articulating them in these types of exercises?

      hey Lola, as I don't know if your flat back is muscular or structural what I would say is focus on doing the best you can to keep your tailbone reaching towards your heels and your head hanging between your arms. Using your muscles to lift and stretch ya. And overtime even if you still lean towards a flat back the muscles are still getting the workout. Make sure you don't make yourself feel round by pulling your shoulders in your ears or curling your head in too much

      @@OnlinePilatesClasses thank you!! :) just one thing! what do you mean by hanging my head between my arms? Do you mean to focus on my back of my head and neck getting longer? or just completely put no force or power into my head?
