- This video will show you how to fix the hill decent control fault, service advancetrac, abs light, and traction control light on the 2011-2022 Superduty. In this case it was due to the left front ABS wheel speed sensor faulty.Left front wheel speed sensor was purchased from Amazon and I have provided a link below.

Excellent camera work and explanation, I wish all automotive how-to’s were as clear. Thank you!
Doing God’s work. Saved me 500$. Very much appreciated!
Great video. I was looking for a video like this a month and a half ago and couldn’t find anything. After watching this I’m finally going to attempt to fix my truck now. Thanks for walking through the process.
Hi i recently had the same codes on my 2019 f250. My truck also had a steering issue after this happened. I am going to check this first
Awesome how-to video. Thanks
Excellent video. Thank you!
Great detailed video!! Thanks sir
Excelente amigo gracias por el video DTB
Awesome Video!!! Thank you
Great video very well done. I am having the same issues with my 2015. My older OBD2 states Lateral Acceleration Sensor but I believe its the ABS sensor. What scan tablet are you using its time for me to upgrade mine and yours seems to be a better option...
Nice work! Thank you.
I have a 2019 SuperDuty with a 6in lift and get these warnings constantly. Was told that the sensors need to be recalibrated.
Thank you man
on my 2012 f350 lariat dually i replaced all the abs sensors and light still on. the advancetrac light is also on. the abs light will come and go and when it does the truck jerks and looses power
Good job! 👏
Got the errors code screens your showing on my 2015 F150 Plat with 266k.No OBC light warning, need to check for Ghost codes. Replaced brake switch, failed, still showed code screens for Hill Descent Control Fault, Service AdvanceTrac . Next up Will try to look at "Wheel speed sensors". Q do pro techs replace these sensors harnesses in pairs like other wheel parts. This vid was geared toward SD F250 F350, but do F150 carry these wheel sensors to.
I’m getting the same lights but when I plug in a scanner I get no codes…
Because you gave a code reader, not a scanner. Aka a very entry level low-end tool.
For the 2019 model the harness goes up to the engine bay I've been looking where exactly it goes to..
My 2014 F250 shows the exact same lights in the gauge cluster but shows a U0073 code! Truck runs and drives fine. Have you seen that code before
I have hill decent on my 2016 and have never used 7 year later.
Will this also take care of the parking brake light as well???
Do you have to program the new speed sensors? Or just plug everything in and ready to go?
Just plug it in and you’re good to go.
My truck starts with hill decent but cycles thru all warnings ending with brake. Only does this under hard acceleration.
My code reader doesn’t tell me anything, but I have these same alerts on my dash. How do I know what sensor to replace?
Without the code reader telling you what sensor it is there’s no real way of telling unless you did an ohms check on each sensor. Or just inspect the wires going to each sensor as you saw on this one it was really easy to tell the wire corroded.
I had to go to harbor freight and buy a code reader that reads abs codes
Does all four wheels have that sensor because my light just came on.
Yes all four wheels will have a sensor.
What scan tool is that.
Xtool d7 amzn.to/44p07cI
What kind of scanner do you have ?
Xtool d7 amzn.to/3YSggWU
@@BLUECOLLARGARAGEdo you suggest about Drive Mode not available. My 2018 just had abs, service advance trac and drive mode not available
Same problems and no codes 🙅🏻♂️ spend $700 on wheel bearing and still the ABS light on 🙅🏻♂️
Ground wire
THIS IS EXACTLY what must be wrong with my truck. I took it to get the right front caliper replaced (at a tire shop) and those two lights came on. Would this also disable the traction control by chance? Because I have no traction control either
Yes if you have a bad speed sensor it will automatically disable the traction control because the computer can’t see what that wheel is doing. Double check your wiring to the wheel speed sensor to make sure they didn’t mess something up.
My 2014 F250 shows the exact same lights in the gauge cluster but shows a U0073 code! Truck runs and drives fine. Have you seen that code before
