looks delicous - would have liked to see more of the inside and to know how you eat it - with butter I suppose - for tea or cofee, or ? asked from a danish housewife
"Top O' The Mornin' to Ya! Love your recipe! Try this the next time you make it. Add 3 soup spoons of Vanilla syrup (Starbucks). St Paddy's Day is a big deal in South Boston! Slainte Johnny from Boston
Just made soda bread with raisins and a little orange zest, the recipe included 1 egg, it’s very confusing as every recipe I looked at are different amounts, and cooking temperatures and times, just keeping my fingers crossed for the one in the oven, I did like your recipe, will try next time
i have never done this in a bread machine. Maybe see if your machine has a quick bread setting. It really is super quick to put together. No rest time needed.
Bread machine not necessary as the dough is not kneaded like you would for making regular bread but just patted pushed and turned a few times to form the loaf....follow the video
Thank you for bringing that to my attention! Working on fixing that in the printed recipe right now. 400 degrees F. for 35 to 40 minutes. Happy baking!
I love the little added fun traditions you mentioned at the end. We're going to make some now. Thanks!
Thank you!! Enjoy!
The music is very enjoyable. Loved it!
awesome my friend. Thank you very much, wish you a lot of health and success
You as well! Thank you!
Beautiful video! One of the things that makes it so wonderful is your traditional Irish blessing, and poking holes in the dough to release faeries. 😁
Looks amazing thank you ,happy St Patrick's day

Apart from the buttermilk, you can also use yogurt - makes the texture more light as well 😊
This looks absolutly amazing! *_A Big Thumbs up from a fellow Foodie_* (creator), Greetings from *Jan!* 🤗

Great suggestions! I like to eat it with butter along side a bowl of stew. Its good for breakfast with eggs too! Thank you for your comment Lilian!
Did it crumble when you cut it, an if so is there any reason for that so that it is firm enough to slice.
Lol you cut into it but didn't show the inside. Cool.

Hey thanks for the tip! Have you ever made chocolate soda bread? I was thinking of trying that next.
Happy St. Patrick's Day! Your Irish Soda Bread recipe is baking in the oven right now!
Bonjour, quelle est le poids de beurre utilisé, merci ? Amitiés, Sud de la France, Bernadette

I really enjoyed making Irish soda bread I had made irish-bred for very long time and it's so good by the way are you Irish
I love making it too! It's so simple. I have Irish heritage but not from Ireland if that makes sense.
How will you do this in bread machine?

Can you tell me what the oven temperature should be, can’t find it . Thanks
It's not in the actual printed recipe, but in the video she says 400F ( which is 200C ) for 40 minutes

Thank you for your quick response!
Your background music is nice but too loud !
unfortunately there is nothing that can be done now. But always learning 😊
No egg?
What size of cup ?
Use a 1 cup standard measuring cup .....not a cup for coffee or tea as the sizes are all different.
@@hazelpearson7807 thank you
You didnt let us see the inside of the bread!!!
