When I first discovered NYC solo on my own I saw some gorgeous houses. I fell in love with the Upper East side in Manhattan. I lived in Queens as a kid and adult I never had a chance to see this incredible neighborhood. It's really beautiful. I may by a house here and Riverdale lol. Tight security will be needed lol. The only thing that spoiled this magnificent neighborhood were the electricity poles. By the way, this is the most beautiful neighborhood on earth that I would want to live in. I've never seen anything more beautiful.
I lived there for 27 years there are better places due to the fact that all the beautiful lands are gone to the overbuilding ….massive houses instead of the land attached Too congested now Not worth the prices and to drive on the avenue near the bridge can take a long time to get where you want to go If you have young school age kids I suggest you think it over…….not a good area for education …… I spent happy times there years ago when it had a nice country feeling Your decision ….good luck

Thanks for showing this neighborhood I wasn’t familiar with. For my tastes most of the houses look like newer construction McMansions that are way too big for their lots.

I'm not sure if this is the same neighborhood and that park you might be talking i used to go over there and play ball, but is the airport near by ? And when you get to a section there's alot of carribean Indians
it is all so very pretty but the one thing that ruins it all are the telephone wires, too bad when the neighborhood was planned they didnt bury the wires under the ground. Also, I know LGA is close by, id hate to hear any type of air traffic at all, that would completely negate any of the beauty living there. Listening to airplanes landing and taking off every 30 seconds is maddening, hopefully they don't have it there.
