Thanks, I have been thinking about putting the questionnaire onto my website as a free download so that clients (and even non-clients) can get started sooner
I know nothing about designing home I'm preparing to build a house and I want it custum made I love your video's don't give up, they all start small, with patience and perseverance and truthful content you will grow I'm Subscribing 😊
You do know that the floor is a horizontal surface, right? There's The Never, Ever List because I've lived in 32 different places, not including barracks or dorms; every single place has contributed to The List. And the No Stairs Without an Elevator issue because I'm never gonna get any younger. I love watching how this process goes! It's all brand new and shiny to me. I concede that I've been collecting pictures and plans for decades - I started before there was an Internet. Both pictures and plans are very specific; a wing chair in a library, the inglenook in a family room, or the one wall in a 3500sf house that's NOT snow freaking white. And the artisanal bits here and there. Like Sarah Susanka's coiled rope at the foot of the stairs (from the original Not So Big House). Or a raccoon carved into something you see when you round a corner.
Sounds like your home will be custom tailored with all the things that bring you happiness! When I was referring to horizontal surfaces it was along the lines of counters and bookcases and built-ins where things tend to get piled up.
It would be interesting to see your questionnaire...sounds like a fascinating approach
