Really glad to see this game is still being developed all of these years later :) Kinda makes me wonder when the full version will be ready. I cannot wait.
The full version has been out for a while in v1.0, these updates are just extras to keep the game more alive

I missed you guys! I'm glad that this game hasn't been forgotten, but I don't mind how the pace's been slower. You're all working on Fraymakers, and this is just a fan game. You guys are simply the best and we can't wait to play what you've made...and of course play the new update of SSF2 when it comes out.
They split into two different teams, so it's not the same team working on both games. Though it's not impossible there's some overlap
The love for the game is still strong to this day.
I remember that I was a little boy when I played ssf1 and then ssf2 with my friends, all this because I could never buy a console to play, and I am excited to see how this game continues to develop, getting better and better, and it shows that They do not want to overlook any detail, it is seen that they put a lot of effort into their work
we had a good childhood haha playing ssf1 was a dream and ssf2 did so much work

In my head, they made Fraymakers just to make more money to invest in smash flash

I never expected stage resprites, I thought you guys were just going to keep adding fighters. The devs are actually hitting parts of the game that need changing now, I love that. I don't care that this isn't a release video, I'm still going to watch this presentation a hundred times over. I'm still hyped af.
i never gave up hope on this game even during its darkest time when flash died. i remember playing the first one back in like 2011 and following 2's development from there.
Now this is truly a gracious return. Props to the dev team, I cannot wait to play this update!
The Redial remix caught me off guard, it sounds amazing! Can't wait to listen to it on the revamped Bomberman stage

The new Bomberman music and updated stage made me VERY happy as a Bomberman fan.

This is so cool, I love playing this game because the movement and combos feel the best of any smash fan game. I'm also getting a new laptop really soon so I'll finally be able to play again since flash died

Airman's sprite looks so clean, it reminds me a lot of the assists in fraymakers (which shouldn't come as a shock)
The Sprite work has improved so much since back in the day
Never have I expected it, but its made me happy all the same

Indeed, this game is still THE Fan Game of Smash, each update improves every aspect of the game, the first time I can try this wonderful project was in 0.8, it is a total dream see how beautiful it is becoming, Thank you very much SSF2 Team, for creating one of the best projects ever seen ❤

I remember playing SSF before flash player was down since I was 11 years old. I used to play this alone and I enjoyed playing this game also my cousin played this game too and we versus each other on SSF2 and made memories of those fight.
it's been so long since I've seen this game show up, the Lloyd new sprite threw me for a whirl, I am so hyped to try this out!

A decir verdad el personaje de goku no es el mejor, ojala su arsenal de movimientos sean reemplazados para hacerlo mejor tanto en local y solo, como en competitivo.
parece que van a cambiar cosas de goku, por el nuevo estilo de kamehameha que mostraron. quizas cambien un ataque como con kirby, o vuelvan el kaioken que sea usable en cualquier momento

The Bomberman battlefield resprite in this official trailer is based on one of those stages in Dreammix TV: World Fighters

Wow those new stage resprites are insanely detailed. I think Seth from SFIV/5 would be a really cool character for this game. He would be a second option for those who don't wanna play Kirby, to copy characters moves. Also hell yeah new Goku colors, about time lol
Seth would also be really good to feel like an extreme version of Ryu (although, shoryuken being repeatable up to 3 times would need some balancing) and can easily do the 2 supers thing with Tanden Stream up close and Tanden Typhoon far away.
I hope and pray this game keeps getting better and better.
I hope that in the future there will be splatoon characters, it would be really cool

It's great to see SSF2 getting a new update in like 1.5 years. In SSF2 v1.4, I want to see new characters like Mega Man X, Shrek, or Deku. I also want to see Naruto getting a resprite, so he is in his adult form/his Boruto form.
If Mega Man X was in Super Smash Flash 2, this would be his moveset:

The stage re-sprites look soooo gooood!! If it's not too much work, could you guys please replace the Jigglypuff costumes, and make them similar to Ultimate? The hats are so cute
They were trying to add hats at some point but it didn't really work well enough, and now that real costumes are a thing I think the demand for hats is kind of gone
