Icebergs on port side? Going the wrong direction?? Wow, super uncomfi thoughts. Sheet on! Thanks for the wonderful updates. Not sure if I would grap the camera first upon discover :)
Mein Respekt. Pass auf dich auf.
High alert time onboard hopefully you can all communicate and report iceberg sightings to keep you all safe, wishing you all a safe passage when you can all relax again
I mean, just beside this not so nice Iceberg-situation, I thought this sounds funny "Iceberg". And than I got it - in German we say "Eisberg". It sonds really nearly the same. Just the berg (mountain) is pronounced a little bit different. All the best
O crap!!!! - but well done on spotting it in the first place - do you have some kind of collision alarm on board or is avoidance now just a case of pot luck?
Take care mate!🇳🇿

Let’s face it, each edition we feel like technical progress makes it safer but however, you can’t predict anything other there

Dear Conrad, don't worry about the icebergs, as you are - like you rightfully said - the "hottest thing" in the southern ocean. 😅
Growlers....eeeeeeeeekkkk

I had been warned that it was out there, but the position that I had was 40 hours old. It didn’t show up on radar, I just saw it in the waves
Scary in the daytime, must be even worse at night. Stay safe, also stay warm if that’s possible.
