I really like The Balm! I have only one eyeshadow palette from them called Meet Matte Shmaker with the shimmers and mattes in it. I grab it when I feel uninspired because it always gives me a solid eyelook.😄
I enjoy my In the Balm of your Hands Vol.2 palette because it contains my favourite blushes and my favourite highlighter from the Balm.☺
That's why I like The Balm: it's always a solid look.

I'm getting more into makeup and I never heard of the balm brand before. The eyeshadow palettes look interesting to me .
None of these are still available as far as I know. The brand did release a new palette not long ago. Not sure it is any good.
I skipped Naked Heat and settled with Nude Beach and petite Heat for mattes with an orange undertone. The combo with the bronzy shades in Nude Beach; 🥰😁
I know! I love it for that reason.
I do not like matt eyeshadows either. I have not heard the balm products mentioned in awhile. Tho I have a balm bronzer which I like. However I will not reorder the bronzer. I enjoy lighter colors which are shimmer. Dark colors make my face even darker because I have a base yellow/tan in my face.
I love The Balm's face products too. Maybe I should do a separate video on them.
Fragrance Direct UK has some theBalm quite cheap (Day to Night 1 and 2, I think and some blush/highlight). Postage to NL is cheap too.
I found cheaper The Balm stuff on Dutch websites too, but never any palettes.
I've never tried the balm eyeshadows (I think I've only tried a lip gloss lol) as the balm wasn't the easiest brand to find in Scotland. For a while Superdrug stocked it in large stores, but it was quite expensive compared to other things. I thought their shadows were quite dark tone heavy and I'm super pale. i run into the same issue of all dark tones looking the same on me tbh and need a lot of lighter colours in a palette for diversity on my skintone (I'm a C0 in mac F&B, 008 in Lancome and either 0.5 or 0.1 in Revolution for reference). Seeing them all together they have fab packaging and some really nice shades, but I still think they have a lot of dark/warm tones that won't really suit me all that well. If they had a truly cool toned palette then I would perhaps try that, so if they're bringing out new palettes it might be worth a look. I don't mind having to build up pigment - it's a lot easier than toning it down lol. As ever it's interesting to see them all together. Best wishes.

The Balm was one of those brands I really wanted to own palettes from. I decluttered my Nudetude and still have the one with the cut out letters which has a gorgeous red copper shimmer. But truth be told, I never reach for it. On the other hand, I do reach for my cheek products on a regular basis.
That looked like such a great palette, but I ended up not buying it as I felt there was only one shade I wanted it for.
The "Meet Matte" palettes are now 43 Euros each at Kosmetik4less... Good that you already have them!
Yeah I paid around 35 - 40 euros for each palette.
Their pallets are the bomb. Hopefully I can find a warm tone palette from your review.
I also really like The Balm eyeshadows. I have the Meet Matt(e) Trimony palette as well as Foiled Again palette, which is my favourite because it has a lot of different neutral tones. I also like Meet Matt(e) Trimony of course because the formula is amazing. I do also think the two warm light brown shades in the Trimony palette are too similar and that the dark purple and dark brown look the same on the eyes. I think they should have made the dark purple a little bit lighter or more vibrant and replaced the other warm brown with something else.

hi forgive me but pans would drive me nuts , off set pans yes it irritates me . i am old fashioned i suppose but off set pans ! well i have said it !
I know! This level of crooked pans I can still handle, but some palettes just really take the cake. I basically refrained from purchasing an UD palette because the pans freaked me out.
i hate hate hate the balm aesthetic, i find it so offputting that i will never touch one of those products. however, i am watching here because i want to hear your take and also give you a view.

@@FloatinginDreams don't mind me, i even get bothered if the background color pans are set in detracts too much from the shadow colors. anyway, i think you made a really good case for the balm eyeshadows in this video, good job!
