The Sidcup Sixty Trial 2023

Over an hour of action from the Sidcup & District MCC's 2023 Sidcup Sixty Trial, held at the splendid Canada Heights venue, Swanley, Kent on Sunday 15th January. This was the first round of the 2023 ACU South Eastern Trials Championship.
Last year's event winner was Jack Dance, but his trials career is really taking off, and he's preparing himself for the coming season in Spain right now. Another contender for the win would be Sam Connor, but he's hobbling around having sustained a knee injury. So the smart money was on Alexz Wigg this year. But then Tom Moss and that Brett Harbud too can be quite handy...

Cool video! I'm either proud or maybe crazy to say but at 59 years old I just put a deposit on my 3rd trials bike. A 2023 gas gas TXT 300 racing version. My wife and I were at the dealership the other day and she said these bikes look funny where's the seat? I tried to explain to her what exactly observed trials is and this video with all you awesome riders made the explanation easy. Oh by the way I'm not going to compete, I just love everything about trials motorcycles. But I did buy the seat kit and auxiliary fuel tank. This gasser is my 3rd trials bike since 1973. I had a 1978 Yamaha TY model, a 2002 Montesa Cota, and now this Gas Gas. A lifetime of riding with many unmentioned motocross bikes. Never rode a street bike in my life. Too many dangerous drivers out there
