  • How are you guys doing? Welcome back! Today we have the American Tactical GSG-16
    It’s a semi-automatic rifle chambered in .22LR
And this rifle is not it. It’s a terrible example of a semi-automatic .22LR rifle. And I do not recommend it.
This video is not sponsored by American Tactical (for obvious reasons)
The video was made in iMovie

For its price point it's an excellent gun. I had to stop watching your review after a few minutes. You can easily spend 4 times the amount & probably still not be happy.

Mine gsg 22lr runs smooth as butter. Zero jams. I run CCI ammo and it eats it up. Zero movement on my rails either.

Not sure if you've done it yet, but you can
1.) add a strong adhesive to the bottom of the rail before screwing it back on.
2.) Remove the factory rails and install rail of your choice

These guns are made for HV (high velocity) ammo. They will not function reliably on standard velocity low budget stuff. The best brand to try is CCI. If the GSG-16 doesn't run other brands, it could be the ammo. If it doesn't run CCI, then it's the gun.

I'd say it's either your negligence or a legitimate fluke because the very grove it travels in isn't as hard as the charging handle it's self...

@@Zubes240 maybe learn a bit and try some stuff before posting. Ammo selection is basic and critical .22lr Simi auto platforms. CCI is the most notable ammo manufacturer for the caliber and a staple somewhat. Your standard CCI will run better than the next 4 brands combined but I would say this is the golden Era for the caliber with more names and all the new reliable manufacturing methods it's more dependable than ever. And the 110 round drum mag clearly says on it not to use waxed ammo. I'm assuming the stock mags don't as well
