Excellent from what is basically a chunk of plastic an amazing repeating crossbow to use on targets and something to have to hand for home defense. In awe of your design and invention puts you alongside Joerg Sprave for technical genious.👏👏
This is also a great way to show the difference between clip and magazine. Those are ammo clips, since their function is to transfer ammo into the weapons maganize, which in turn feed the actual "chamber" so to speak

Hot damn, this is the coolest 3D printed 'weapon' I've ever seen. Even cooler than guns imo. That ammo box + loading system is GENIUS. Though maybe the power of each shot isn't so great, but that's one hell of a good design.
This thing is big fun. Unfortunately the string wears out pretty fast, shrink tubing doesn't help much. Maybe a short piece of metal tubing will prevent the string from being cut by the trigger hook?
Needs a lot more power to do any significant damage without strong poison on the bolts, but with that, yes. Now if the tech had been availiable to the Incas, Azteks and the Amazonian native tribes using poison dart frogs, the Spanish and Portugese conquistadors would have been fucked as soon as the conquistadors proved agressive and world history after that would have been very different.
@@SonsOfLorgar Depends on context. Such a small model obviously isn't a battlefield weapon, and against people who don't wear armor this is way enough power. If you have the advantage of surprise, you empty a volley before they can react. If you have the time to reload, and needs to, your target have time to run at you. Hit&run is the best suited for those situations.
Fantastic work! Would be awesome to see a version that shoots 10mm steel balls instead of arrows (the application range for such thing would be much wider than arrow shooting version)
Because I don’t have a printer and I don’t know someone who owns one I would give it to an online 3D-print shop. Can you recommend a service here in Europe? PS Thank you for that really great work! ツ
