Well, I made it through notwithstanding the screechy, uneven vocals. Really enjoyed the story and the many twists and turns, all very nicely resolved. Enjoy, new readers❤
Really enjoying the story but the screechy voices are hurting my head, esp since the detective came into the picture with his exaggerated Chicago nasal accent which also sounds like Wisconsin and now they're all lapsing into it. I ought to know, used to talk that way before moving away and thankfully losing it. But really enjoying the story.
So far, I've endured to the 6:03:05 mark. I'm pretty sure I'm about to be out of here. The whiny voice of the child is like chalk on a blackboard and the main character is SO insipid. The story is dragging so much I wonder if the author is adding words because she had a minimum to reach. ***** ARGH I feel like the old song by the Clash, "Should I Stay or Should I Go."
Sorry line exelent!!!! BUT, the daughter drives me crazy. My kids would never act like that. And the wife feels a bit too much sorry for herself. I can't finish the story. I don't do histerical.
I tried but I couldn't take it anymore! Every character's voice got on my nerves! Especially the child's voice!! I'm sorry narrator you are probably a very talented individual what devices you chose for the characters were very annoying. As for the story, to be honest it was a little lame. I didn't even make it to the halfway point
The whiny voice of the wife is a bit annoying, and why she doesn’t divulge to the police any new discovery she has, makes no sense, especially when she’s so concerned about the police’s accusatory tone. The set up is unrealistic and the constant back-n-forth argument with police is redundant and annoying. Still, I want to finish it, as I’ve invested so much time on it.😊
The narrator was awful. Too over the top and whiney. I could handle the child ok but the rest. Ugh. It was a good story line but I will never listen to this narrator again.
It was interesting, but the ending was too loose for me. It left some nagging questions unanswered. If the rest of this author’s books are no better, then I’ll skip them.
I read “Third Party” before this one and expected a lot better. I really had a hard time listening to this one through the end. @@glindathegoodwitch3385
That schreezy voice of the child has now driven me insane.
You're not kidding!
I'm visualizing a spanking.
Just awful, and surely unnecessary
I’m giving up after 1:40 purely because I can’t stand that whiny voice.
I never want to scream “shut up shut up shut the f up”more in my life
If I never hear the name Bella as long as I live, I’ll be great!!! Other than that, I’m liking the story!
It's Elizabella and me too!! What a ridiculous name!
I've been over than name since that one vampire love story movie came out in 2008.
There's a YT short asking Vets what cat or dog names they're most sick of. Bella was the universal winner 😂
Never want to hear of a Mimi ever again😂
@@lolac1arkthat's what i chose for my grandkids to call me. Much better than " granny "
This was a great story. The author kept you guessing and then guessing again. A must read. The narrator was great. Thank you for uploading.
This author's other book THE THIRD PARTY is a great story!! I recommend!!
It's on UA-cam also. I think I'll listen to it. I've tried this before and couldn't get into it. I hope the other still be better.
The story could've been shorter and a lot less toddler whining. All the names in the story were annoying honestly.
Nini, oh lawd! And that child is so very needy that I am stressed for the main character.
The main character is insufferable trying so hard to finish

Bella’s voice makes me want to hear fingernails on a chalkboard.
I am 30 minutes into this and I'm out of here. I can't take anymore of the complaints.
I know from experience that a child can have an imaginary friend/friends without being a brat. Bella is insufferable.
She wouldn't be pulling that mess in the 1980s.
I can’t even finish the book .. this child is thee most annoying character I’ve ever come across 🥴😂😂
Agreed
Annoying interpretation
Yes I hate her!!
Agreed! I'm fighting through it and I'm halfway through but I don't know how much more I can take. Talk about working my last nerve.

So…actually a good story! Yes, unfortunately, the narrator’s voice for the three year old Bella is tragic. If I got through, maybe you can too 😊😂
Enjoying both the story and narrator. Thank you!

* hysterical
Ok.
Lol
The child and her mother are the most annoying characters. Other than that, the story is not too bad.
Very good, lots of useful conversations, really helpful with my English
Fantastic story line
Well written and intriguing ❤
Thanks very much
Narrator great too
Loved this
Thank you 🙏
Excellent book. Excellent narration. Can't ask for more.
Interesting storyline excellent narration. Thank you x
Great story. Thanks
This was a great read !! Thank you !!
This was a great story. I caught myself agreeing with the character and then chastising myself bc I was wrong, lol. Kept me
On my toes for sure!
Thanks!❤
The main lady is really doing my head in. I'm only 1 hour 26 in

Thank you ❤️
Great storyline. I thought she was being gaslight (gaslight? Is that a word?) Anyway, I didn't see the ending coming from THAT corner.
Gaslighted or gaslit lol
elizabella? nope.
😂right!
Great!
Thanks🇿🇦
Thank you
It was ok-
40 minutes into the story and nothing has happened!

How come sometimes the number stamp works and sometimes it's not lit up? The little number stamp in the bottom right of this comment area.
Jezuz have you noticed the audio quality is really bad??!! Insufferable.

yup that child voice hurts my ears . Narrator needs to turn it down
It may very well be a good book, but I don’t like all the 😂whining and not enough action, and too many ads, every 6-8 minutes. So I am done.
Narrator goes through the same thoughts over and over and over again. So annoying.

Its ripped off of audible..the uploaded doesn't control the narration..oh it's free..get over yourself lol

Try “Third Party”. I liked it well enough to try this one although I may regret listening to it.
