This song has always reminded me of dementia. The simple melody, the reverb and the idea of it being called "fuzzybrain", makes me think memory loss is the key theme here.

Most of the lines here equate to dementia. There's also the idea that it equates to heartbreak, which is more plausible, but I like to think that the "fuzz" in fuzzybrain is that static feeling you imagine when you think of dementia

As a person who went through relationship-related turmoil, it's been a heart-aching comfort to listen to this song - the lyrics of being in perfectly organized chaos internally are far too relatable now. While I've healed internally I to this day remember the thoughts I had where I thought I would be the love of my life.
I love the perfectly nostalgic sound of the sound - the perfectly "tuned" but the pure voice of this guy, and the natural sound of all his songs with less harsh and obscure tones, but rather with softer and more mellow instruments that leave a warm fuzzy feeling inside.
I almost didn't listen/sing to this song today since I was scared I was gonna cry but it was worth crying to hear this beautiful song again. "I don't know her, but I miss her." welled up so much inside me.
