Im not sure if its the correct place to say this but it will do. I dont know if its been like that always but after finally reaching 5 star with high mmr and playing only vs 5/6 star lobbies i can honestly say its absolutely not worth it to grind rank in this game. The levels of absurdness and sweat that there is in high mmr games is ridiculous and totally not worth it to even bother. As happy as I could be to go from 2 stars to 6 ill be as happy to drop back to 3 stars. If you wanna fuck around and have fun in this game you need to stick to 3 star mmr. Thats to new players and people trying to get high ranked in this game.
The issue is it's really easy to rank up even for a fairly mediocre player. I'm constantly losing and I'm never going to derank again it's very demotivating. In 6 stars for reference it's awful

Can't do to a severe amount of brain damage from the military I'm not really good at remembering the names of things which is actually why I asked. I assumed that the choices you would make specifically would be amongst the best so if I do start playing they would be on par with meta If not meta. Bring me personally, I really like reliable large magazine medium to medium high damage weapons for the medium range and then something for really close range. I've seen you use a few rifles that have a large magazine and seem to hit pretty hard. Then for close range probably some sort of shotgun or heavy revolver. But I don't want to overlap ammunition types.

I don't understand about the bomb launcher. By default, he fires a harpoon with a quarter stick of dynamite inside. The explosive part is weak, with only 75 hp of explosive damage, but when you stick a harpoon with it inside someone, they die. The cons are a very steep trajectory. Now a non-explosive broadhead harpoon has appeared. It h as a less steep trajectory, it shoots farther, and when it hits the body, it kills (excl. legs). Also, if you hit but not killed with it, broadhead projectile causes a massive bleed which can finish-off survivor . That is in every way better than a pyrotechnic harpoon. Oh, and it's reusable! That is, it's fucking better than a pyrotechnic harpoon.
These hitbox issues happen so frequently that I'm starting to wonder if Crytek plays their own game. You can add the mouse issue to the list of reasons why I think they don't play their own games. Certainly not test it like they claim they do anyway.
I’m demanding an update for console. We cannot lobby long enough to make hunters without crashing. Can’t the game just stay stable instead of break it and hit registration again? Ffs it’s not fun anymore if it isn’t baseline not crashing.
@@Neenoh I’m a new player but I got about 300 hours . Katana used to be one hit on most things . Recently I had to chop someone twice as well as certain zombies . The guy in my lobby whose prestige 54 mentioned it . If you find something different lmk
@@DoubleTime999 Katana without Martialist doesn't always one shot. Katana WITH Martialist one shots to legs. They didn't nerf Katana at all except for Stamina cost, which doesn't matter at all due to Martialist working without stamina and stamina shots existing. Damage is the same, it just didn't get buffed like every other, weaker, melee weapon.
@@takubear88 interesting . I play on a steam deck oled . I see a lot of inconsistencies. One time I can one hit and kill someone and the next person I hit and get a hit marker . This is without berserker . I’m not saying youre wrong . Just telling you my exp and what I’ve heard .

No it has no effects on enemys, it doesnt even deal damage

@@mahockey3 yea i haven't played since last season or so. like a week or two after they added the other maps back to the map pool
you unlock it at lvl 8 in current battle pass, costs 40 hunt dollars for the ammo, and special ammo boxes only give one revive bolt back at a time.
