Love the design but I'm waiting on the mini version which the designer, Blaise Golden, says will be coming (hopefully sooner rather than later). If I had my druthers, I'd opt for scaling it down to a 3.3" blade. At any rate, I'm waiting anxiously on the "sub" Caliber.
I want that knife so bad, I fell in love with it from the very first picture he ever released, I need that in my collection desperately, I can't honestly remember the last knife I wanted this bad
As usual, another nice knife that pre-orders are done or is already sold out by the time you ever find out about it. Never fails.
I got the blue fluted handle option and I agree it is pretty likely that this will be my favorite knife of the year. Even though it’s bigger than I usually would carry. Had some issues initially but Blaise got it all figured out quickly, no questions asked. He seems like a great guy. Can’t wait to see what he comes up with next.
Mine came at the beginning of June and this knife is absolutely awesome! The smoothness, the light weight, the knurled texture... Blaise killed it with this one! I regret not getting 2, and that's a lot of money- would be totally worth it!

There needs to be many more runs of this to get everyone a chance to experience the awesomeness.
This is such an amazing knife with the perfect lock. Would love to see more availability of these. Would also love a more budget version with something like a 14C28N or 154CM with an Ultem, micarta, G10 or CF show scale. I'm not saying this knife is overpriced at all, but would love a version around $150!

I think they're out of California, I believe the main Guy Blaise uses Golden because his last name. Also they had some extras for sale earlier today, but I think they're already sold out.
Feel exactly the same, he made a Lefty version and to have a left hand button lock is extremely rare and then the Lefty lockbar and clip plus all the deployment options, I preordered mine and then grabbed another one on the extras drop so I can mod one out, blade is wicked sharp, would like to see a disassembly video - Thanks Wayne 😎

Cool design. Love square diamond pattern. There exist left handed version and I very happy about that.

Got my Caliber a few days ago and agree with everything you said and more. I got the same version as you and Holy crap I love it.
If you haven't noticed the 2 hidden Easter eggs yet with the 2 hidden Golden Design logos, look under the pocket clip and inside the scales. Pretty darn spiffy if you ask me.
Really sharp looking knife! Personally id prefer it to be a bottom or top liner lock if its going to be button actuated.

Beautiful knife and well executed. Like to see that HRC at 63-64 though. Any OEM’s are starting to hit that too and magnacut needs it.
Winter Blade co. has a prototype with the same kind of lock.

Vosteed released a new Raccoon model with this kind of lock over a month ago. They call it their "top liner lock". They also have 2 new knives with this lock. One is called the Hedgehog for about $129 and a premium model called RSKAOS for $249. I bought the first two and they are great.

A Smock like compression lock. . . On a frame lock instead of a liner lock. Interesting, for sure. Great looking blade, Dub. Hope you are doing well, sir. Got mine recently and dig. Initially forgot it was also a frame lock.
