Road to Hillside Bushwhack

The hike began with a road, then a trail, followed by animal paths, and ending with a Peralta Phil bushwhack.
I parked at the popular Apache Gap Trailhead, but hiked on the east side of the road near the Mini Four Peaks. I pereformed some trail maintenance along the way, notce the the two cactii which I freed from the encroaching cats claw and palo verde.
I hiked close to some interestion hilltops and captured on camera the rugged terrain on the west side of the highway. I also discovered a road or trail on the west side that merits future exploration.
There was no particular destination in mind. I just wanted to take a hike.
