- My sister tiffany & I chopped each other's super long red hair! After we cut it we had over 28" to send in for the hair donation to Wigs for Kids! It was so fun cutting each other's hair & now we'll both get a professional hair cut since it's still really uneven lol! :) We are donating to www.wigsforkids...

It says over 28 inches because both my sister & I donated over 14" each :)
What a great way to give to a little one in need. I think your shorter hair looks great and it is the gift that keeps on giving as you can grow it again and repeat. Well done.
You ladies look beautiful with your new hair!! I chopped all of my hair off 12 years ago and cried for a week, lol. Haven't had short hair since!! ( I had a pixie cut after having about 27 inches of hair. T_T ) My niece just recently cut off most of her hair too, I'm glad there's a place she can donate where they don't charge kids for hair!

I donated my hair in third graded, and I was also really worried, but somehow everyone can rock a shorter haircut, so don't worry. Besides, hair grows!

Oh my gosh 9 years of growing your hair, wow. My gair grows fast and a year since the last cut I'm cutting it again. My hair is straight thick and bobs off my neck are what keep my cool and headache free. Your sister and you do have similar hair color and texture, really cool.

I love ur guys' new hair cuts! I donated my hair to locks of love about a year and a half ago (I have the video up on my channel if u wanna see it). I didn't know they made the people charge for the wigs!

holy crap. your hair. recently i cut off 10in of my hair and cried for a month. ive been struggling to grow out my hair. but learned to leave it be.
my long hair was so difficult because it's curly, so would took 40 minutes every time i showered :\ now it takes 5 minutes LOL #winning :)

I cut off 24 inches and it was 3 years of growth. My son misses it now. Lol. I have to admit I miss my hair too. It was hip length.
After the ponytail was cut, they cut another 2-3 inches

Many women cut their hair r/t minor or major feeling of guilt. The carities, ALL of them, have more than enough hair, and the vast majority of donations are trashed or sold. Shame on all of them. Long hair always looks best on the woman who EARNED it. BTW, I am with your son! lol

there are some places that do take dyed hair as long as it's dyed a natural color :)
I know a new charity called Leon's Roar that does not charge kids for hair, and accepts dyed hair. You can contact this charity at leonsroar1234@gmail.com
