    Thank you so much for sharing this information. I have been Anastrozole since Oct 2022 and I am now feeling more joint discomfort than before. I am having my DIEP flap procedure in July 2023. I will be asking my medical team about the collagen.

    Thank you for sharing these useful tips. I am suffering joint pain and from irregular sleep as well. Do you have any tips for the sleep?

      I'm sorry to hear you are suffering as well. Making sure to exercise and getting in enough water helps me, I've also tried a guided meditation for sleep that is relaxing. I hope you find something that helps you🙏🌷🙏

    Thanks for sharing! Did u have any other side effects from HRT? My bilateral mastectomy is scheduled for 4/11/23 trying to get informed for all that’s ahead.

      My pleasure! I find it helps me when I feel prepared for the "next thing" too. Sadly I did... I'll add a link to a recent video I did that compares the two different hormone therapy options I tried. It explains the side effects I felt from both (some different, some the same). Wishing you all the best in your surgery and recovery this April💫🌷

    Hi Chelsey, thanks for this. Did you say you took AI for 1 year? Did you change to something else or stopped. Doc say I need to take it for 10 years... thanks

      Yes, I took an AI for one year, then switched to Tamoxifen. I've also been recommended extended use.

      Thank you for your kind support🙏🌷. Wow, good for you! I've always thought that playing is a really impressive/enjoyable skill to have. Happy to hear you can still play, even though you need to cut back.

    Are you still taking Hormone blocker Anastrozole? I thought I remembered you saying you were going off it. How long did you take it and are you going to go back on it?

    • @ChelseyTarnow
      @ChelseyTarnow  Рік тому +1

      Hi:). I was on anastrozole for one year, before I switched to Tamoxifen for a second year and then I took a break from Tamoxifen to try and get pregnant. At this point I don't plan to go back on anastrozole.

      @@ChelseyTarnow Will you be going back on Tamoxifen? I was on Arimidex for one year. I have decided not to take it anymore. I am Whole Foods plant based and exercise everyday. I was stage 1 invasive lobular no node involvement. ER +. Lumpectomy chemo radiation. I'm 2 years 4 months out from diagnosis and clear NED. I'm 72 yrs old. It was a big decision to stop. But it was depressed and the joint pain was debilitating.

      @@bourgsusan thank you so much for sharing🙏. Did you noticed when you stopped your medication that you felt better mentally and physically? It is such a tough decision to navigate and so personal. At this point I am considering going back on.
